It could be just a bonus feature. An easter egg or something. If someone thinks it's stupid, or useless, simply dont do 1 on 1... ignore it.
I'm sure many ppl will enjoy this with their friends however.

If they do 1v1's, they could really make it fun and do away with the player radar and red dots. That way it's line of sight, so there is some actual movement and positioning involved. Mesmers don't look so scary when that Warrior spots them first and moves around and gets the jump on them with all those interrupts and knockdowns. That said, I'd take my Me/R up against anything

1 v 1 will allow more skill options as you will not have an extra skill slot ^_^

(you will no longer need to the usualy mandatory res skill spot)

thank you. I'm a rare breed though, you'll have a hard time finding people in this forum that are able to look past their own nose. it's a shame really.

well in todays gaile chat, like someone here perviously posted, it MIGHT be used just for training or comming up with builds that is all. ITS NOT going to happen permently for factions sorry, for all of you who wanted a 1 vs 1 i would have liked it but don't mind either way..

Guess people are worried that 1v1s may create an enviroment where you can't depend on anyone else and your indivual build rather then teamwork and using skills together.....O wait a minuite we have that place already it's called Random Arenas.
