Woohoo, tomorrow I won't have my computer for a whole month. I'll just demand my brother's computer, and I will use violence if needed. There's no such thing as not playing during an event like this!
Thanks for the information by the way Can't wait! I hope I can play as much as my brain pleases.

I'd still like to know about targeted healing and rezing Allies. Guess I'll just have to wait until Friday. I just hope the party list is organized in some sort of logical fasion. You know, it would be nice to have an option to move people around in your party list once you were in combat enviroments (because lots of PvE "leaders" dont organize the list). On top of that, it would be nice to see Party members and enemies Energy. The AI can see our energy (when you get mind wracked only when your energy is low), so why cant we see others?

That kinda sucks. Especially for people who have 4 filled slots and dont want to delete any of them

send yourself a free invite.
so what if you toss the account after the event.
isnt the whole purpose of this to have fun and get a good look around of the parts they want us to see?

Exactly. If you don't already have a PvP char you can delete then the unlocks are useless to you anyway. Just set up another account to test things out for the weekend.

I have a quick question about the 20 skills given to us. Will the 20 skills be new factions that we personally can pick from the pool or will they be pre-set skills given to us? And if we chose to us a primary proffesion that we have already unlocked skills for will we be able to draw from that pool as well to better compliment the 20 skills given to us?
Help from someone in the knowledge loop or from Gaile herself would be much appreciated.

So I'm not the only one who thinks it would be cool to be able to change your hairstyle, at least? I mean, we can change them in real life, so...
I'm hopping around because I really want to make a Mesmer and I want to see all the new options. And new armor!
(hey I admit, I'm all about the shiny)
I ended up sending myself my last invite just to play around and see what I like; I have slots left on my own account, but it doesn't hurt to have some wiggle room.

If you already own Guild Wars, and have an empty slot, you need to do nothing.
If you don't, or you don't have a spare slot, you'll need a key from a guest pass (if you own GW, you should have 3 passes to email to friends, and can email one to yourself.
I have two left, so PM me if you need one.

The pre-order pack should contain a white booklet called Access Key Booklet, it has four keys in it. The first one will be the pre-order it allows you access the FPE, game items, and the 24 hr head start. Next if the friend key, then a trial prophecies key, then an Auto Assault trial key.
If you didn’t get anything like that in the pack then I would take it back to Best Buy.

I hate the fact that in the whole wide world, there's only 4 sets of armor for each class. Then they have a real similar looking set of the same armors except they cost ten times as much. At this point we might as well be stick figures.
Know what Tyria needs? RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOing Walmart! Sale on greaves - 2 for 10 gold. Hell yeah... Walmart would pwn Morgren and that other dwarf.

So, is trying to unlock new skills worth it during the FPE or just a waste of Faction/Time?

Not worth the time. From what I have read so far, all unlocks, items etc will be erased after the event.
The head start comes in April if you pre-purchased Factions.

I beleive that all skills and times will stay unlocked, its that your charcter made dureing the free for all will be erasyed, as in all items and that charcter will go back to level 1, but anything unlocked will still exist just not on that charcter, but still on your account, so that when you get factions, if you make a new PVP charcter and want to use those items you can.

I'm pretty sure if you unlocked anything using your account, it stays unlocked. The only thing they're deleting are the characters themselves.
