.. what a random thread.

You've obviously played a warrior. Everyone else plays warrior. I enjoy playing my warrior.

I don't see how assassin will be any different.

No.

I plan on being something fun and random until a build that YOU HAVE TO HAVE OR ELSE YOU'RE USELESS comes out. Then I'll switch to that to get groups :-\

Assassins do get that nice skill..
" Shadow Form {Elite} - Enchantment Spell
For 5...17 seconds, all hostile spells that target you fail and all attacks against you miss. When Shadow Form ends, lose all but 5...41 health." .

Add that with some healing for yourself.... short runs only though

Do you know what the word "literally" means? Or the word "impossible", for that manner? Or in fact, how to use commas? I'm guessing no.

Assassins may be overplayed. Wow, what a newsflash. People have been saying this since they first were announced, and in more coherent ways at that.

assasins are not going to be like warriors, they will not really replace them. They do good dmg and short bursts of dmg, but they arnt good for self survivability or dps. They have low armor, but can warp up to opponants, beat the crap out of them, then warp back to safety.

Assassins will not replace any character or be overplayed more than any character. They have a different play style from the rest that is good in some builds, bad in others. What they do best is EXACTLY as their name implies. Massive amount of spike damage. During the PvP weekend, I was able to, in a 10-second period, teleport to target, kill target, teleport away from enemy group, target being a warrior and the group having 2 monks. The key to this working was the supprize tactic, combined with a ias and string of 4 chain attacks. Worked quite well.

Oh yes the assassins will probably be overpresented in the first few weeks. And they will be played by the same people who play poor whammos now. And we'll be seeing alot names like "xXx Naruto xXx" not a great leap of logic from the current Aragron, Aracorn, Arakorn, Aregorn....ad nauseam type of setting.

I will- for one- just grit my teeth and do like I always do: not group with anybody with Naruto or LotR reference or the words noob, nub, naab, newb in their names (the latter often accompanied by words like killer, killah, slayer, pwner, pwnxor, ownzar or other such names implying "I take severe beating in pvp").

Thank you for listening.

You don't know what "literally" means yet you call me a hillbilly? What basis do you have for calling me that?

Your two posts are about things that have been discussed to death and do not contribute anything to the forum.
