Yeah because no one has ever had two sides fighting each other in order to take territory.
Oh and the Horde and the Alliance? Complete ripoff of the Allies and the Axis. Blizzard needs to stop leeching off of WW2.

Kurzicks = Assassins
Luxons = Ritualists
It fits perfectly, I'm gunna be an Assassin Kurzick by the way.
And since Kurzicks and Luxons are like the whole evil vs. good thing. Looks like Sentinel Armor will be going with the Kurzicks along with the army of Wamamamamamo's!!! who will be following it.

Heh, maybe there is some truth to this. I'm going Ritualist and my gut instinct was Luxon.
And to the comment about this turning into WoW. From what I've heard so far, the way the alliances work is probably more comparable to the different alliances in Eve Online than in WoW. Though I've never played WoW so I can't totally be sure it's the same as Eve Online :P. Anyway if you haven't noticed the way Guild Wars works, basically the GW staff looks around at all of it's competition, (WoW, Eve Online, w/e else ppl play :P) observes the strength's and weaknesses of those games, and works hard to incorporate the strength's of those games, without having to include the weaknesses.

That's funny, I plan to be a Luxon Assassin...
"Oh I'm sorry, was that YOUR gate I opened? Well you have larger problems now anyway. *Points at Luxon Army, charging in the open gate* One more thing...*Kills Sentry*"

What is with the Luxon = alliance, kurzick = horde? Those saying have no bases at all.
Both alliance and horde were religious on their own.
Alliance are more civilized. Hence, that should be Kurzick.
Horde are more barabaric. Hence, that should be Luxon.
Since Kurzick is religious people who find meaning in everything, ritualist is obviously their thing. While Luxon who is more barbaric would resort to assassination no problem.
Anyway...
I will have to travel inside their home before I can decide.

Our guild as well as a few we've decided to ally with will be siding with the Kurzicks. We'd take orderly civilization any day as opposed to a nomadic lifestyle.

Kurzicks for me, but it is all in Kaitrin and Tzu's hands. Sadly it will be hard for the Kurzicks to compete with the Luxons Pirateness.

Having that read, I think I'll choose the Kurzicks. At least I will at first, but I'll try Luxon's too of course.

Oh for RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO's sake. Go to hell you emo piece of shit.
There will not be such a severe imbalance as WoW exemplifies. I have full confidence in ANET with such a matter. I for one will be joining the lesser side if one is clearly deifned just for the fact that morons flock to the biggest, shiniest thing they can find.
Also, judging by your train of though, WoW is leeching off persay...any great war in history? WW2 ftw.

The scary part of all of this? People are choosing based on appearances and looks. These are like the people in 15k armor who look real good, but get their 15k butts handed to them by THK and Thirsty. I'm just hoping the good and the bad get split evenly between the two sides. It's hard to come to a decision, but I'm hoping my guild goes Kurzick.

I have a few things influencing my decision, one being: Is the faction aliance sealed, or does it change between chars? and two: What faction is my guild choosing? What would happen in the compettitive missions and the GvG? if you have a Luxon vs. Kurzick GvG, and half the guild on the other side is on ur fction then wtf?
I dunno, I will have to see what is happening in both of them before i choose. I mean, im all for a cult in a pertified forest (no joke, that would be cool!), but the jade sea man........dam it looks cool.

I do have to say Kurzick is attractive to me, a sea of jade? What the heck lol? The petrified forest is cool to me, everything is built into the forest, not some mass industrialized city. Well that's my judgement.
