Default Graphics errors:

With the new updates im getting some annoying graphics problems. I've reinstalled GW and updated DirectX but i still get these problems. I created an image to show what i mean.

Is anyone else getting this because it's bugging me bad .

EDIT: The problem is not with my hardware because my pc is..well..godly ^^.

better than the graphical glitches I'm getting. Things turn blue if I look at them the right way.

But, I'm thinking it's DirectX related.

I think it's your AA. Look at all the jaggies in the angle shot. Soft lines like that cause blur. Try turning your AA up. If that doesn't work then it's a DX 9 thing. I'd be willing to bet on it.

I'm getting exactly the same thing - my PC's well above average as well.

When fighting the glyphs in the ring-o-fire missions they turn into redboxes when I mouse over them since the update.

On some cards, even high end ones, having post processing effects on will make long distance shots seem a little blurry. Turn it off for a second to see if it changes anything

It's NOT an antialiasing (AA) issue. AA has to do with polygon edges. What you are seeing is some problem with texture filtering. Try enabling 8x or 16xAF (Anisotropic Filtering) from the driver control panel for the Guild Wars profile. It's a shame the game client does not have an AF slider.

I don't know if AF would solve your problem, but I had personally seen some serious ground texture blurring of late (I don't know why I hadn't noticed it before... might have been the update, or I just might not have noticed it). At any rate, I forced 16xAF from my driver control panel and it's very nice now (except for that god-forsaken nVidia texture shimmering).
