Whats so bad about them?
Lets see.
Nice skin? *stares*, yeh, they're pretty nice.
Max damage? yep
Good inbuilt mods? 15^50 for the daggers, 10/10 for the staff .. very nice. The 10/10 is great for not forcing the ritualist to just focus on the one attribute, it couldn't be a 20/20 in something.
Nice upgrades? (less important since we can mod them ourselves). +5 insightful for the staff .. very nice. No wrapping which is unfortunate, but can be lived with. The daggers get +1(20%) dagger mastery which is .. pretty nice. But again, since they can be swapped, its less relevant what these mods are.
So, they are reasonably skinned, decently modded, max damage/energy items.
Why is anyone complaining again?
