Rare Materials in Factions
I did not get a good look at the Factions preview weekend. Anyone know if all Materials (Delidimor, Vellum etc) will still be used for Factions armor? Thank you

Yeah, you need 50 of each rare material to make a SUPERDUPER INGOT and you need 250 of those to craft a set of armour

From what I saw, it looked like most armor takes the same sort of stuff it always has. Though I noticed ritualist armor required a lot of ink.

Assassin Armor uses lots of scales and other materials I won't mention because I'm stockpiling them and I don't want the price at the NPC to skyrocket ^_^

I didn't get a chance to look at traders and crafters........mostly just doing quests, though I had to work half the FPE.
Did anyone see any NEW rare crafting materials?

Well I predict the armors will use materials that are currently seldom used. Bolts of Linen, Vials of Ink, Spiritwood planks, and Bones, for example.
New material would be Jadeite shards.

What about Rubies and Saphires? They are in the game but no one really knows what they are for. Do you think they will have more of a use in Factions?

Mud Bricks???? I dont see Mud Bricks on the material or rare material trader list. But like Spirtwood and Tempered Glass Vial are two of the many unused items, and yes it will be interesting to see what they are used for. Maybe for new 15k armor or a new kind of armor much like Fissure armor.

im guessing that the basic materials will still be used in factions, but new rare materials will show up for the higher end armors

From what I saw, the Kurzick special armour used the materials that are pretty common now on expensive armour.

Don't you guys think that they will change the material for the real deal? The only thing that's for sure is the use of ne material what you could get from faction points.
If i do remember right the GW faction first part had armor's 2 that used another kind of material.

I doubt they'd change ALL the materials used in the new armors. I think what you saw in the FPE is pretty much what you get concering materials.
Course, wishful thinking, since I'm stockpiling.

amber and jade
amber and jade are 2 NEW crafing materials. You could (during the fpe) get amber or jade in trade for your kurzic or luxon faction and the trader did mention it was used in certain armor types.
I also believe that you will have 2 different types of the same class armor depending on if you're with the kurzic or luxon clan (have faction points for and/or guild alignment with).
Furthermore, and i really dont care about trader prices at this point, but a use for tempered glass vials and spirit wood also in armor crafting. I meant to take screenies of the armors, but never got around to it...
