Strikes me as out of character for Anet to give us a little Christmas gift like this and have it be only for warriors. Kinda class-ist, isn't it? Has anyone checked the other inaccessible backwaters of Tyria for new bows, staves, etc?

EDIT: Unless, of course, this isn't a christmas present but a palliative for removing the SoA axe. The developers aren't dumb - gotta administer some nasty medicine to the game? Dangle something shiny over here and we'll all go "oooh, shiny!"

It's one of the most distinctive items in the game, that's why they did it. I never thought anyone would play the "profession card"...HA!

Any /W with 9 swordsmanship can use them.

My necromancer doesn't have Granite Citadel, trying to get there from Deldrimor Warcamp, I saw a group that was going to Citadel. I joined them but they refused to believe I wasn't a Minion Master becuase I was a N/mo.

YAH! Of course the only necros you can play are Spiteful Spirit and Minion Master.

The leader was a 55 hp monk, no less, Mo/W.

Now I have to go all that way with Hechies, and they really suck in Grenth's Footprints.

Ok.. i'm starting a group TONIGHT! at 7:10 PM PST (I'm in California) I'll be using Grim who is W/Monk. So i'll be waiting in Granite Cithdal. Pm me in game to get a group started.

these blades are sweet. if you got a 15>50 chaos axe, it wouldn't be more popular...

if you talked with Dwayna, you'd still be less popular.

If only we got the view of the ice imps who we slay to get these.

im thinking favor may be tied to it..

the first run I did we had favor and the area around the statue was covered in imps.. four dropped ( I was with fuzzy ,monking)

the second... no favor and few imps no drops

ahh, sheesh, i have had 50+ ppl ask to see it already...

Edit: It is reccomended you don't BUY it today, but wait until tomorrow when the prices will drop immensly.
