It isn't from collector, and all six which dropped were identical. They're not purple or gold, so salvaging anything from them is off the menu if you put a mod on (haven't tried modding yet)

Reasons why I believe this to be fake:

One of the Screenshots is named gw0662ed.jpg as in edited...
The other two have "strange properties" like the bush on the far right seeming to be in front of the sword.
Noone is selling them in the Forum, in Droknar, in Granite Cit. etc.
Noone there could show me one either.

Last but not least I just went there myself, no henchies, no drops, cool glitches though



So to wrap it up I offer 2k to the first person showing me the damm thing ingame, no pictures, no fuss. but I guess although you are willing and greedy you never happen to have time when I'm online.

So record a vidoe of the thing, forging a video is way more difficult than a picture so we should all believe in that.

Until then... nice fake though, kinda like it.

Any other sighting besides Mineral Springs? God, anywhere but Mineral Spring please.... Any monster drops these besides Icy Imps?

if it's not fakes, then we'll see a lot of these in trade channel in next few days. If it's fake, then we won't. Just wait and see....

Someone did video it and it was "fake", i dont know though. (why does this stuff ALWAYS happen when im at work).

well im sure its only mineral springs in the area where no one goes :P... some people on guru came with me to grotto but.. none dropped...

I have seen one drop so it exists and drops from the ice imps in mineral springs in the cave.

Someone came and claimed the 2p reward, showing me that erverything about the IDS is true.

now the issue of pricing arises.
is it a dirtcommon drop soon to loose all value
is it a xmas special, farmed to death but still valueable
is it something else, a shape of things to came in the expansion, a reminder that we should abandon our foolish obsession for "perfect" gold items?

Just because it didnt drop for you (us actually, I got disconnected in Mineral Springs) doesnt mean it doesnt exist. I'm going to go again and look.

Edit: Oh, you've seen it for yourself. I wonder if I can coax someone to show it to me. Maybe I wont need to find it... christmas scams ftw.
