well lets change the subject a bit, we all believe that they exist.
Where on earth did this sword come from? U think the devs r giving us something to farm for? i think this is possibly a very nice christmas gift and my guess it that this item will start dropping in many other isolated places

I'm thinking it's Christmas bonus, it's not like they can do the same thing as Halloween but substitute a Santa for Mad King.

There are lots of little items like this scattered around the game. For example you can get divine symbols that look similar to the mesmer's inspiration offhands in UW and you can get black flame artifacts with a blue or pink orb (I forget, been a while since I had one) by ember light. A lot of the time they have the same name, just a different skin/model.

Saw someone spamming WTS: IDS 15>50 29hp for like c/o of 50ecto, so I guess you can mod them.

Well, 7 out of 8 party members got one tonight and now it's head to work with no sleep.

I think we'll be going back tonight and try to pick up the last one. Just to confirm, it is only from imps outside of Lyssa's cave in Mineral Springs that these are dropping.

anywho - Im been clearing all imps from Grotto to Keep and no IDS-drop, so I think Silvermane is right - they only drop outside the error 40 cave hmm.. area 40 - heh... or something :-|

Well now that there are tons of these things, and they are so easy to get, the price on one will drop to nothing, just like the greens did. First its hard to find, then 75% of the players have them and sell them for nothing. I would have kept this a secrect myself, and sold them for a ton...

So guys, just to clear this up, where can these be dropped?, I would like one, but I'm on my first character (lvl 18) and not passed d'alessio yet.

I'm guessing lornars pass ice imps won't drop these?

Mineral Springs, north east corner, dropped by Ice Imps. The closest town is Granite Citidel, you head north east through Tasca's Demise, then into Mineral Springs.

In reference to the errors associated with Lyssa's cave, we had one run that was cut short because of Err 7's. It happened to 5 of 8 party members almost simultaneously. This was around 1-2am GMT-5 if memory serves. After spending all night up there, I think the general consensus was that none of us wants to see an Avicara or an Ice Imp for quite some time. lol After we get that last party member their sword that is.

I have no doubt that the prices for these will spike in the next day or so and then drop drastically. Not really worried about price myself though, pulling an all-nighter with friends was worth it for me.

I dont think they are going to dissaper (as it seems they "may" have been there for months and only noticed) so dont worry youll get one when you do get there.
