The 8k looks good on the female, imho, reminds me of bloody barbed wire. The chest and arms look good on the male too, but I refuse to wear speedos.. so I never bothered with the lower half for my male. I think the 800 scar looks cheap, no matter what colour it's dyed.

The monk 800 looks pretty good, but not as clear as the 8k grotto.

That can't be correct. I have a set of tatoos that I just made about 2 weeks ago and the icons on them don't dye at all either. I have the same problem you do and it is very annoying.

I tried....

Removing the dye and applying the dye in inventory. No change.
Removing the dye and applying the dye while worn. No change.
Removing the dye while worn and and applying the dye while worn. No change.

I wish I knew just why this happens so I can get my icons dyed a different color.
