I'm wondering how many characters you have. I would have a lot more money saved up, but it has been spread across 6 characters, so I rarely break 100k in the bank.

Anyways, if you get bored, you can always meet some noobie in ascalon, have them run to the shiverpeaks, then sit back and pay them to continually run into large groups of enemies while your servants rez him and you sip on some dwarven ale. Oh yea, get a female ele or ranger to dance for you at the same time if you REALLY wanna be classy

/save it for Factions.

Investing some in greens and gold weps/shields/etc. for your specific characs, wouldnt be bad either.

/That's what I did with my million; save stuff for next chapter; last thing I wanted to do in my "to-do-list" for ch.1, and just before I took the break from the game. now I just relax and converse with ppl. -ingame retirement is quite nice actually.

well i like fow but it was only fun when i was almost the only 1

now its no fun anymore. so try get another fow that no one has :P like mesmer male

i only know one person who has it. looks pretty cool so try get that one.

i'll agree with this, unless you really really really like fissure armor you might want to wait it out. I have done this as well - speant all of my gold on 15k armor and speant quite a bit on mixing dyes and dyeing the armor, but now i am keeping the rest of my gold for chapter 2, plus keep in mind, that when chapter 2 does come out fissure armor materials may go down, unless there is fissure armor in chapter 2 that uses the same materials. so you may want to take a chance and wait - from what knowledge i have gained on the forums i think that rubys and saphires will be the new ectos in chapter two. chances are ecto prices will keep falling.

anyhow, congrats on reaching 1mil. whatever you choose to do, enjoy it

Congrats on reaching 1 milion /applause. As for what to do with it, save it for chapter 2 or buy some dream weapons for your characters. That's what I did when I reached the 1 million mark. Fissure of Woe armor isn't worth buying honestly. It's a huge money sink and I have a feeling the chapter 2 armors will be far more appealing

I'm holding onto all my money right now. I have 2 accts w/ all 6 professions. My Necro has FOW and my others have 15K armor (all black). I got all the greens, runes, good amount of ccs, tons of materials (some more than others 2,500 wood, 1,500 dust) etc. And get this.... I have 2.2 million spread across both accts. I'm not even buying FoW armor for my other chars (even tho there is nothing more for me to buy). I'm just gonna help out other guildies & wait to see what happens in Factions.

I would strongly suggest you wait to see what happens with Factions, but if you want to spend money on something just make sure it's not FoW armor. IMO the Necro has the best FoW armor out of all the chars (unique) , but it's not worth you squandering all your money when we are this close to Factions.. A few months ago I would have said different. That's just me tho...

I would save it for Ch2 now. Wait and see what that brings and if you still like Fow etc afterwards then you can buy it. What I would do is save the money, use it to trade in Ch2 to increase it more.

I strongly suspect the cash limits will be raised in ch2 so as to make money storage less of an issue. Well put it like this I hope so..

Maybe it's ok for people to discuss how many millions they've got amongst people with millions also, but amongst a large community where the vast majority actually don't have an ounce (well, maybe two) of that to me is really unacceptable. Not that this is aimed directly at you, because I can understand most people who have so much at least want to tell a few others about it, and there are regularly posts like that here. However, these are never posts that I enjoy reading. Maybe I would think differently if I had more money myself, but meh. Not intending to start an argument here, though I'm thinking I probably will get quoted.

To OP: Well, grats, I guess. Save it for Factions like other people said, get all the new stuff.

When I have too much money ie...1000k I start to buy ecto as cheap as possible. I know some people prefer to buy gems, but I have to disagree with the future value of these gems. Just like certain crafting materials have been the foundation for certain armor. I think ecto will always be the foundation for the higher end armor.

They would really have to increase the drop rate of gems(if you are going to need them for future armor), which compared to ecto is far less than desirable, and if they did increase the drop rate of gems..the value would drop( now they are high, but with an increased drop rate it will plummet). However, I do not think they will increase the drop rate of ecto, which would keep the value of ecto more stable in the future.

Just my 2 cents..

Well, those that want to read into something negative will do just that... If you are a jealous person it will come out and you will read the post that way... I just have to say don't be envious of others. This is a game and that's all it amounts to in the end..

However, my post had nothing to do with bragging. I was simply stating that I have far more than a million and I'm not even buying FoW armor for my other characters. Just to empasize how much I think Factions will bring in terms of armor, weapons, etc.. I felt like I could make my point much better if I explained my position first.. Know what I mean ?

As for bragging rights - I've got 3 great characters that I've had a great time playing the game with. (Had a fourth, but his bear ate him) Not one of them has every "Uber leet" thing you can get - a few things, but not all. But What they do have, I've gone out and gotten the hard way - except an IDS that I couldn't resist buying (n00b alert!), LOL.

Bragging about your armor is kinda silly, as lots of people dont know the difference anyway. and who can tell what runes you've got tied up in there, unless you open a trade window to show them? Besides, some of that FoW armor looks like crap anyway, but the wearers overlook that just for the fact that it's "uber leet" and not many people can afford it.

Tru Dat, cuz I see some of that FoW armor as ugly IMO. I did splurge for the Necro b/c it was so cool and unique. I think the other stuff is eh.. I could do without it or I'd rather not even look at it on another player... lol

I think using the money on Factions will be well worth it not unless you need certain things now (like runes, weps, etc)

money storage will not likely go up...weapons prices would be even crazier then...inflation in general would run rampant
