since i pre ordered factions do i get to play it 24 hours sooner without buying it or what?

If you preordered Factions and received the preorder package, you can play on the 27th and 28th without having to own Factions. After that requires the addition of the key for the game to be able to continue in your adventures.

if you ordered the collectors edition which is delayed

how much time do you have before anet deletes (i assume) your character progress? or is it just frozen indefinetly?

i believe it lasts for 10 days that includes your 2 extra slots and if you havent registered your actual game key by then all factions stuff and the 2 other slots are frozen out untill you do.

10 days? where'd ya hear that? It sounds like a steep length of time to me. I had heard before that it would be 2 days to get the full game and enter the key.

About that 2 slots thingy. Will they be Frozen with the chars, Or will the chars be deleted after 10 days?
