Besides all the creeps that want your accounts now. Do you even enjoy the game?? Like playing with friends in tombs? or just helping them for free to get somewhere?
Or is the day on Guildwars only poor griffons (they must be extinted by now) farming and running around all over the map?

Before you asked. No i dont have massive amount of money and i dont need it. I have what i need to fight and have fun in the game.

Believe it or not, some people enjoy running all over the map and killing things. And helping guildies and friends. And helping random strangers do missions. You'd be surprised what some people accomplish in a day's worth of playing Guild Wars and still have a little wealth. Nobody needs a lot of money in this game. Some people like expensive armor. I just like expensive toys.

It was posted some time ago that what, 90% of the GW players have less than 10 plat or something like that, so I'm at least in the upper 10%. And why not have 1000 ectos? Spend enough time in the desert and you can have thousands of hydra claws or griffon wings. Spend enough time in UW and you can have thousands of ectos. Some people are dedicated to getting what they want. Some people are dedicated to bitching and denial.

naw, but i could have over 4,000 ecto if i sold my stuff off.

he (and i knew the guy in real life, he used to work where i do, b4 he got fired) was one of those people that was mega rich b4 the ecto price-reset, and what he told me is that he managed to buy over 1,000 of them at a severely reduced price, and then resold them for lord knows how much, waited for ecto prices to fall, and then repeated.

i did a similar thing, but i was not nearly as wealthy as he at the time of the price-resets.

Ahhhhh I couldn't resist

I know I'm far from the top, still I managed to put away a little money. I have 2 more chars with 100k each and inventories full with gold weapons, nothing extraordinary but good level items, and I have a friend holding 500k for me as I really don't know where to put them (she also got 40 globs, 20 shards for Christmas and 200k worth of green items).
By the way, I solo farmed a couple of weeks not more, and I don't resell stuff (except 3 Rago flame staff that's all).

For everyone who was asking abnout the swords, here they are. Not as exquisite as some, but they serve me well. I'm still looking for three or four more req. 8 wings to complete my ___slaying set. Aslo added a few things form my other characters. Out fitting 11 characters across three accounts is not an easy, nor cheap, past time.
