I'm currently at Ehlonas, and other than the first couple of Maguuma missions, it's been very easy to get into a group for most things, barring the really small quests. Often you can make a random quest group that bounces along from quest to quest, repeating some so that everyone can finish their minors
Pretty much everyone can speak English too, that or they say nothing at all. Ever.

The only language problems I've had on the euro servers is being in a group and somewhere near the end of the mission somebody pops the "Where are you guys from?" and everybody anwsers "Holland" followed by a quick "Why are we speaking English?".

Very interesting subject you've brought up actually RTS, im glad you posted it here and not in Q&A..
(I think Q&A is mainly newbie questions)
I've been rushing through the game with a new Nec I made, I personally havnt found any problem with getting teams tbh!
As for the language, well, Im not sure.. some people are very quiet, I suspect they dont speak english so they just follow along... in any case I find it interesting to have a mix of people when completing the mission isnt that important.
The reason why I think this subject is interesting is because ALOT of people are coming back from American servers who are really EU, I think we have proved our worth with holding favor often..
I've always maintained that IF everyone in EU STAYED on the EU server, then it would never have been a problem in the first place... however I think that even Americans are coming over to the EU side now. and there have always been alot of Canadians.
After saying all this, I still do actually beleive that through the sheer population size of America there are definatly more districts and definatly more english speakers!
I have guildies and friends who I will be going through Factions with, and when they arnt available I really enjoy doing it with henchies (oo err).
It really depends on how much you depend on PUGS!.. but I would love to see more EU'ers back on their home server

On a related sidenote, if you're experiencing lag problems, run this tool (ftp://ftp.guildwars.com/diag/netinfotool_allos_gw.exe) once when you're experiencing lag and again when you're not experiencing lag (if you have times where you're not lagging). Attach the text files it outputs here (http://support.plaync.com/cgi-bin/pl...nduser/ask.php) and submit it. This way, Anet can further debug where the issues are occuring at.

I've not been on the Euro servers. I just remember hearing at 8 pm GMT this past Sunday. 'We're getting organized in the Spanish districts [of THK] since they are empty' was the word from our allies before we all moved to International (25 people in International THK probably set a record )
Its a few weeks outdated, but you could use search. (no offense, I've just always wanted to provide a link for somebody who obviously knows more than me )
The real reason I point it out is people seem to have even more information in those posts (4, 7, 13, and 21 in particular). It also has a decent bit of Halls tangents, but good with the bad...
I went back and checked out the reverse thread on search here and wow, that was a lot of districts in post 10. 23 districts in Ascalon!

the latest lag-ventures made me think about "returning home" as well... and although i really dislike the attitude of a lot of people in the american districts: whenever i checked the connectoin with my 2nd account to the european server i saw the same crap, just in a smaller multi-lingual edition...
i am at home in the international districts anyway, but i am going to wait for factions-release: still optimistic that the lag-issue will be solved.

Maybe it's just me, but it seems that there are more people in the outposts and towns than a couple of months ago. I only play in the english districts and play sometimes in PUGS with people from different nations.
Most of the time there isn't a language problem because everybody seems to speak english well enough. The situation described by Gonzo also happend to me a couple of times.
I haven't trouble finding a group for quests or missions ever, but maybe I'm just playing at the right times
Btw I'm Dutch too

Yea, I think this is always going to be a problem on any game, however, I usually find that the MORE people there are the more Scamming and Spamming goes on!
It think the secret is a good active guild and a strong friends list, no matter where you are.
I'll be your friend if your coming over to EU, im always doing stuff

That was a mega over generalization - considering that you have a w/mo too. By posting a comment like that you may aswell roll around in petrol and play with matches because you at a severe risk of being FLAMED.

With the introduction of English districts some time ago, I know hear talk of many of the outlaying outposts being complete empty all the time.
My question is, is it time for me to move my character back to the Euro servers? I'm feed up of my massive ping? And with Factions coming up, I'm thinking its time to find a nice euro Guild to join.
So could anyone tell me is it really worth it? And how populated are the Euro servers these days?

Now Europe has favour all day a lot of the Euro players on American servers have moved back, also a fair amount of Americans have moved onto Euro servers aswel, theres always plenty of people around in large cities and some of the smaller outposts have groups of regular people, much like the "boat crew" in Lions Arch.
European players tend to be more friendly also, i tried American servers for a while and found it in general, unfriendly.
