Kindle arrows - For 24 seconds, your arrows deal an additional 3-20 Fire damage.
Unless this skill is bugged, only arrows are affected.

Hmm... he could have been trying out a make-shift Illusionary Warrior Combo... I dont know if it would work to well But there are possibilites.... like a Smiting Combo, or a Self Heal combo, or protecting skills like Shield of regeneration and protective spirit.....
As A general note:
Dont critisize people for trying something new.... If at release date if you asked anyone, Can A monk Tank? No one would have believed you... but guess what, it IS possible... new ideas can change the game so dont make fun of people that are just trying to make them.... ^_^

Good advice. I'm constantly seeking to find strange and unusual builds, but I get yelled at alot; mainly in Random Arena.

There's a big difference between what's possible and what's effictive and efficient.

The problem is, and I am guilty of this, your'e trying out a new build durring a mission, if it doesn't work you are hurting the team.
A lot of builds look good on paper but don't work in practice, such as this necro build.
For instance my dumbest moment, I was working curses with a 1.5 necrotic, using plague sending.
It was the Elona Reach I was grabbing the seed and trying to use plague sending to get rid of bleeding, NOT a good idea, I kept dieing, the team Kept dieing for trying to rescue me. They were a good group of guys, but I left because I was hurting them.
So now when I do a major build change I practice with henchies in the desert regions, the plus side I got A LOT of desert collector drops.
So if you want to do some of the wall build. Try it out first, make sure it works, please!!!

I've had the latter 2 happen simply from having switched my skillbar. Takes a few minutes to get reaccustomed to what I'm bringing
Re: interrupting the wrong skills, as lag is getting worse, this is happening more regularily. It's frustrating. I'm convinced that a D-shot Ranger is better at interrupting.

There's no reason those two should be on the same skillbar. Arcane Echo is simply a waste of energy. I get tired of people expecting me to use AC when going as an SS necro. AC (15E) + SS (15E) + SS (15E) = a big chunk of my energy reserve as a necro. As mesmers often run with 45 energy, doing something similar is a quick energy death. (Need I mention that half the people echoing SS incredibly use it on the same target?) These are usually the same teams that insist that I bring Spinal Shivers, only for me to find out later that no one is delivering cold damage anyway.

This happened to me in Beta, and it took nearly a month and a half to return to experimenting with it (this was still when Energy Necros were still unheard of, at least in PvE).

Orders Necros are an excellent build, if the player knows what they're doing, and is good with timing it. It's a very difficult build to play effectively, and I prefer not to run it, since it bothers me watching my health popping around pogo-style (and this from someone who's comfortable with BiP). It might be better with a different corollary besides Blood Renewal.

This is actually another contributing reason why I deleted my ele and am not sure if I want to recreate her in Factions -- everyone spam-requesting a belly-dance.

I agree to this one... if the mistakes are not repeated frequently, or are repetitive actions that are not well-thought out, i.e. Frenzy + Heal Sig.

When playing a Monk (or other team support, i.e. Battery Necro), you get a very good view of what skills they're using.

Back in the early days, my W/Mo, N/Me and E/Mo ALL did Thirsty River as support healers, as that's the only way we could get one. That's how all three got through that mission.

Oh, I definatly Agree with trying it with henchies first, But some builds work better with teems then henchies... and when U started doing creative self-made builds the first 5 builds I made failed terribly and I didnt have the common sence to try with henchs

Ugh, I've used skills in the wrong places after playing a diff build or character... which is pathetic considering I've used the same PvE group build since october

It doesn't matter how insanely awesome you are, but IWing in FoW is asking for pain. IW can only be used at the front, and if a mesmer is at the front, you are xp. Knockdown + enchant shatters + high power ele damage = gg If you're playing supporter with IW, it's a waste of your elite as aggro should be held on the tank, and if it breaks, you kite, not tank!
And yes, I've run IW in FoW. And on Titan missions. It does not end well

Snipped you down a little bit for succinctness' sake. I agree the majority of SS/Echo necros just don't think when they target. However there is one good reason to echo SS. The more targets you cast it on the faster the kills the faster the kills the more energy you get back to put Ss on even more. With a good damage dealer tanking for me I can hit an entire group of five or six with SS in a matter of moments without any real energy problems. If the group has self healers it can drag a little but even then the more mobs you put it on the more likely you are to negate that healing ability.
Now on topic. The dumbest thing I've ever seen any profession do was a Warrior/Ranger trying to trap. It was funny because he was laying them down in the right order , that is he tried to lay dust trap first. Keep in mind this guy had no +energy items on him at all. He had a furious sword of fortitude and a crimson carapace shield and was wearing full ascalon. So He tries to lay dust trap over and over and over again and just couldn't seem to figure out why he couldn't. For those of you unfamiliar with it Dust Trap costs 25 energy to cast. A warrior's unmodified energy at level 20 is 20. He did this for about five minutes before deciding that someone was hacking him and he rage quit.

A quick note about spinal shivers:
Spinal Shivers requires a cold damage weapon, not many people pack a cold damage weapon, my necro only uses cold damge death wand, when I am a MM, but then I am not using a skill set that puts enough point in curses to make shiver work or when I run a curse build I don't put enough points in death to make a death wand work.

Sorry, I didn't clarify my point. I can understand echoing SS, although I prefer not to do it (recharge is quick as it is). What I was comparing to, though, was a Me/N who tries to do this, with 45 energy and no Soul Reaping. You can't get it back as quickly with Inspiration skills.

Monk:: Uses Frenzy and heal sig in GvG thinking hes the God-like monk you can get.
Mesmer:: Using Backfire on A W/E
Ranger:: using Concussion shot on a W/E
Warrior:: Over extending then uses frenzy while being spiked then uses heal sig. Then using Frenzy against SS to over spike everyone but the opposite team, doing -74-74-74-74-74-74-74-74-74-74-74-74-74-74-74-74-74-74-74-74-74-74-74-74-74-74-74 Per few seconds.
Necro:: Puts everything in healing and prot, and shouts "I'M A MONK DUMBA$$!"
Ele:: Uses blinding flash on a monk and a mesmer. Then uses mending on him/herself.

why dont you just say a whatever profession use alt+f4 for super attack cuz the opposite team shouting this trick in local channel
BTW, this could just happened in TA. one of my teammate keep saying non-sense like "alt+f4" joke in local channel and one of the other team member left game. I dont know what happened to him, he left after my teammate told alt+f4 joke anyway.

Oh granted. Sorry. I can totally agree with that. Quick recharge does make sense I just prefer to spread it around a little faster for quicker kills.

this isn't really dumb, more like strange and a bit over-stretched attribute-wise..
but in RA today, was in a team where there was an e/mo that cast life bond, watchful spirit and mending on all the team members and then ether prodigy on herself when she could, and was using 15/-1 items i believe since she had about 118 energy and energy store helm. we did fine for a few rounds, but she didn't have any heals or attacks
