First on the list is agonizing over appearances for my new PvE characters.- Form alliance between my guild [FoFi], [KNN], [FDC] and [FSMI]. Pay any fees involved.
- Play a R/Rt. Progress through a fair portion of the game.
- See about getting my N/E (only chapter1 character I plan to keep) to Cantha.
- Play a W/A. Progress through a fair portion of the game. Once she's level 20 with good armor & equip, and able to be W/Mo, I'll delete my existing Warrior (15k armor & all).
- Play a Mo/Me. Progress through a fair portion of the game. Once she's level 20 with good equip & armor, delete existing Monk.
- Play an E/?.
- My aim is to unlock a sizeable share of skills. I plan to get a majority of the Factions skills by playing in the PvE portion of the game. As such, my Elementalist's secondary will cover whatever class I've been neglecting (I'm assuming Necro).
- Get R/rt, W/A, Mo/Me & E through the later parts of Factions.
- Aid guildmates & alliance members with missions.
- I want... Sentry armor for ranger, Legionnaire's for War, Disciple's for monk, archmage for ele. That's about 40,000g worth of armors, maybe more depending on material costs. All but Legionnaire's is Kurzick, which isn't a problem for me. I may grab Sentinel's as well.
And then on Saturday... :P

That might take a day or two, since the traders don't sell anything unless a player sells it to them first. Which means the initial supply is zero. I wonder what the initial buying price is -- for most things, if they are out of stock, I'd expect it to be the maximum price. Supply & Demand. I bet that's not really how it works.
I'll get some Tengu Masks, and then cry when my CE hasn't arrived yet, and then wrestle with whether or not I want to wait for CE and not play for unknown numbers of weeks, or reject it and get the regular edition, or just be pissed off, cancel my order, and not buy Factions at all.
For a while, anyway. I probably can't stay pissed off that long.

1. Make a new Mesmer.
2. Play through the game with him, taking my time and drinking everything in.
Tons more I want to do, but I'm sure hoping that'll keep me going for a good long time.

Does anyone even know the details of the tengu mask?
Like where we'll be able to get them, how, when, and for how long?

I think they may be spread around the place. I also heard something about visiting the Shing Jei Monastery (don't know correct spelling) to get the mask. I thought the Shing Jei Monastery was the part of the game that would be the "presearing" part but I guess you can access it again after you "sear" like you access Ascalon. But if you can get the masks at the monastery in "post-sear" I wonder if you'll be able to get them in "presear". I hope so because I want to complete all of the trainer area before I "sear" my new characters, but this takes time and the tengu masks are only there for a day This would cut back on my "postsear" head-start time.
BTW. I'm really glad that after this weekend we'll be able to give the Canthan "presear/postsear" a better title, since "searing" was refering to the charr burning the whole land and there won't be any charr in Cantha...maybe...
EDIT: I didn't answer the how and how long. How will be by trading in a certain drop called Naga Fangs, which will probably be like the Candy-Cane Shards that dropped during winter in that they will stop dropping after it's over and become useless after. Though they may be a common drop. The how long is the 24 hours before the rest of the world gets access. once the head-start ends at midnight PST of thursday night/friday morn, you'll no longer be able to get the mask.

1. Create new character and start exploring the world of cantha
2. Bring Ranger over from Tyria to hunt down the new 15k armor and see how that looks, buy if desired, then take him around to start capturing the new skills and elites i want
3. repeat step 1 as desired

Let's see the first things I'm gonna do when heading over to Cantha are...
1) Create a Rt/N and an A/R
2) Get a Tengu Mask for all my characters
3) Start exploring
4) Do some missions and quests
5) Try out the 12v12 Battles
After that I'll pretty much follow the same routine I've been doing while I was in Tyria. Plus getting some of those new armor sets and weapons.

Find the stuff that will earn the plat and farm/exploit it to death. Maybe it's runes for the new classes or some new type of drop. Whatever it is, I intend to be at the vanguard.
As for the Tengu mask... my pumpkin head went in the trash a long time ago.

It's the people that have such ambitions that make me hate entering towns and outposts. Especially female Ele dancers.

I think I'm going to sit around fretting about creating a Warrior, Mesmer, or Ranger first.
Then I will probably take my Necro over because I can and that'll be really neat.
After that, no clue. Sadly I think I'm one of those "figure it out when I get there" people.
