i agree it really doesnt make sense.. why would you have traders in your guild hall?? you dont get drops during GvG so what is the point in spending money on them.

i would only consider it worth the expense if you got some kind of discounted price or other benefit from having them.

as it stands its a useless update imo

Well its not that useless, i mean what if you got a gvg going and testing of builds, at least your guildies dont have to travel to dakk, they can speak to the skill trader same goes for personal storage. Its just more convient it gives a reason to use the guild hall when there is no GvG being played

1st upgrade will be Xunlai Agent most likely for ours. Hay I have this spare X item, let me run to storage to get it

It will allow pvp only character to get access to lot of PvE stuff too.

Say you don't have a non-elite skill unlocked, you can quickly speak to your skill trainer and get it unlocked, say you have a good weapon what a fellow teammate might find useful, just speak to the storage.

It just makes it more convenient, instead of map traveling about. It acts as a gold sink at the same time and makes the Guild Halls more interactive which in my opinion is about time.

Only the skill trader or storage agent is worth it, but without guild storage this is still pretty lame.

agree - skill trainer would be nice BUT if i am a level 3 monk/rit, can i unlock ALL SKILLS, like at dakk?
cant get to him until the end of the game. you have to search for specific skills during quests/outposts.
will the skill trader have all skills - that would be WELL WORTH IT! but maybe a little unfair

My question is: I'm about to change my guild hall, and probably someday i'll change it again. If I hire those NPC in my actual Guild Hall will they come with me to the new one? or shoul I pay again?

-A feature is requested by the community (in this case: NPCs in guild hall)
-The feature finally gets implemented
-Complaining ensues

Anyone else get a strange déjà vu? Anyway, the prices are not too high considering halls are mostly used by bigger guilds, so the expenses can be divided amongst the members. Also, convenience items shouldn't IMO be too cheap anyway.

Anyone can answer to my previous question?

Here comes another one: where 1 vs 1 arena is?

Its not exactly a 1v1, its more like a mini gvg, u get a guild lord, bodyguards and archers, but you two can just meet in the middle and slug it out. Also you can take henchies as well, but i suppose that defeats the object of 1vs1

Not sure about the changing of guild halls, but i wouldnt have thought they would take the NPCs you have brought

i think most of the complaints are due to the fact that we asked for guild storage and just got access to our personal storage. ive never asked for npc's as i dont see the need for them but guild storage is a different matter

Well in typical ANET fashion, they say guild storage will be coming soon after factions, think i got that from a interview at gamespot

I read somewhere that the NPCs you have bought for your guild will transfer with you if you change your guild hall.

I feel the most useful NPCs are storage and Priest of Balthazar. Many times after a GvG match, I reach the cap of faction points but can't spend them before we go in next match. Now I can just spend some points in guild hall quickly between matches. Good job, Anet!

i was just wondering about the function of the traders - NOT COMPLAINING

is there any advantage to having this in the guild hall - except convenience.

i think it is a great idea - if there is some sort of advantage of having your guild pay 100k for the rare material trader (for example)

Well, they could scale the prices based on how many people are in your guild at the time you purchase the NPCs and then Scale the price for adding new members to the Guild based on how many NPCs you have at your guild hall.

That way if you have a small guild and you plan on staying small, you could still get the NPCs for a reasonable price.

When my Guild can afford them - we'll be getting them all!

The material traders are good for price checks before hitting LA or Drok's to sell stuff without the endless spamming on the "All" channel!

I think I will also be going to the Guild Hall after missions/quests to deal with the merchant in the Hall instead of in the outposts.

Plus it will keep the 4 henchmen company in the Hall. They can get a game of cards or something going.
