Yes, the Absorbs must have been luck, but then again, your chances are now 1:26 of getting one instead of the previous 1:52. And Anet specifically said they increased the chances of getting both Absorbs and Vigors. It's even listed in their update.

Believe what you want...

The last 30 or so gold armors I've identified have turned out as major runes, even ones from other mobs than ettins. No, I am not kidding.

Wow!! I farm ettins daily and the most I have received in gold in a 45min - 1 hour run is 3

I guess that I too am unlucky

Ok, some of you W/Mos are a little thinkheaded. Like I said, it's kinda hard for me to prove without taking one of you along with me, but that sure as hell isn't going to happen

I just farmed them for about and hour again and here are the results. As you can see from my screenshots, there were about 3-4 HoH announcements. If any of you were on for the past hour you will recognize them hopefully. I didn't post the complete log, but this should at least provide you with some evidence.

Yup, that's another Superior Absorption...

While some of you don't believe me, I'm going to be single-handedly reduce the runes prices at the trader...LOL!

Quick note though, you have blocked out your class combo on the screens, but on the final one it shows it in the hero window ^^

Anyway, that's a lot of golds and looks like a nice little money maker hehe ^^

The standard geomancer tank build works fine for me (E/Mo). I did this run today for an hour and got 4 superiors including a sup divine favour. No sup absorption though.

i take it that build kills the ettins super fast.... meaning u have a better chance in an HOUR to get superior runes...

and yes, i noticed the sup absorp drop dramatically last night.. from 60k to 35k... perhaps it went down even more then that... I just happened to check the rune trader out when it was at 35k.

nice drops, makes me wanna go ettin farming again.

lol you must kill fast. My R/Me does pretty well against Ettins (kill all in Nebo/NKP/Nebo - counts as one run to me) and it takes me maybe 45 mins to do that. Very nice indeed
