There ya go. Bugger the kids they shouldn't be on there anyway and are apparently violating Arena Net rules by doing so.

Curious. I don't have a box. And the End User License Agreement to which I consented does not contain this provision. It does note that persons under the age of eighteen must have a parent or guardian set up the account for them, and take responsibility for it.
This I have read, and this I have done, such that my daughters—the youngest of whom is five years old—are avid Guild Wars players. The only discipline issue I've had is that my eight-year-old is so lazy that she keeps paying runners for missions rather than doing them herself.
None of them have made any comment to either myself or their mother concerning prurient content of any kind: as someone pointed out earlier, there's far worse on television. Consider the difference—to a parent—between explaining to a seven-year-old the need to cast Death Nova on your minions before they die, versus explaining the crime with which a suspect is charged—and on one nefandous occasion, having to explain why that particular activity is a crime—on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

Ahh but you actually have taken the time to check the game out as a parent which I have no problem with. That's responsible parenting which is cool and woefully underdone now. A lot of people think the corporations should be the parents, hence all the litigious BS about Rockstar Games among others. But yeah when you get your Factions take a look at the bottom of the case. It's printed on the little sticky label thing under the word Important. It also says it on the back of the box as well. If I get a chance when I get home I'll scan it and post it here.

Thanks! I'll take that as a compliment. I find that things work out a lot more smoothly with my kids when my wife and I are actually involved in what they're doing and take an interest in their interests.

Thanks, again. I'm interested to see whence arises the difference between the box and the End User License Agreement.

Mostly Men Online Role Playing Girls. MMORPG. Well, I'm used to this I work in wardrobe for films and the producers are all men with breast fixations. Just look at TV for your answer. Barbie. Hello. It is interesting that the women in Guild Wars are sex objects but the men are not. Actually how about some hot young studs to even up the score. Hey the new male Ritualist actually wears a dress. I could not believe my eyes yesterday. Well, I guess the people at Guild Wars need to hire a few women.

While I do realize that there are female gamers the majority of the industry caters to men because most of the gamers are male.. I don't think it is deliberately skewed that way as much as it is a function of profitability. If a game wants to sell then it should, at some point, include good looking women. If you need further proof then visit E3 some time and check out the booth babes.

I loved the Grandma that was going to sue Rockstar over GTA:SA after the patch was publicized.
She said she wouldn't have bought it if she knew there was a minigame like that in it.
But of course she was ok before when it just had Strippers, Killing, Gang activity, anti-police activity, drug use, was rated MATURE 17+, etc
But GOD FORBID he be able to hack his game and see a pixel boob.
I think its a huge double standard in games...

As in the model for "Stefan [Fighter Henchman]"? That'd be worthwhile, if only to give players some options.
One thing that I've always found lacking in Guild Wars this game is the ability to create old characters: a crone of a Ritualist, for example, or an tired, aging Warrior, perhaps on the verge of retirement when the Searing came.
These are good character concepts, but they really can't be done in the context of the present character models. They have a few craggy faces for the men, yes, but nothing really old: there was a marvelous bearded face for Elementalists (that made the character look very wise, rather than youthfully foolish) that they had for one of the preview weekends, but it was only for that one weekend.
I understand enough of the model—well, both the execution and business models—for the game to understand why this should be so, but I nonetheless lament its absence.

Rock on fake breasts. I'm sure the wifes of GW players would rather their man look at fake then the real deal. And I'm sorry... but girls in real life have natural or unaturaly large breasts... so big fricken deal if a game girl does?
This reminds me of the uproar over Lara Croft back on 1996

I agree.
When I was trying to decide which side to support, I could find
nothing to distinguish one side from the other.... Then I noticed
that the Luxoms had substantially more developed chests. and
they were more willing to display them. That's all I needed to
make a choice.

Forum Guidelines #7 - Screenshots
Sexually Explicit or other Offensive Material: Do Not post screenshots that abuse various emotes to simulate characters engaging in sexual activities. This INCLUDES personal Avatars.
Image Size: If you're going to post screenshots over 640 pixels in width, please make sure that you use the [ URL ] tag and not the [ IMG ] tag. When a wide image is displayed within a post, it messes with the forum alignment and can load in a chaotic fashion when there are multiple images present in a thread.
Please note that this also applies to quoting a post with an image in it.

All right. This is gone on far enough. There's nothing more here but questionable pics (which will be deleted) and 'boobies' comments.
