i love the dances GW offers. i made my mesmer male (one of only 2 males between my 2 accounts) just because he does the riverdance! now if ANET really wants to impress me, the next character class will be able to copy Judson Laipply's "The Evolution of Dance." to those who havent seen it- look it up and watch it NOW - its he-frickin-larious.

As Dolls to the walls DANC member I just want to give you some info
First we have been dancing for over 6 months Blue and Gold have been on longer being the founders. We have many members who join us in sync dancing parties each night in pre searing and all are welcome to join us.

Why do we dance? We dance to entertain and bring a little colour to presearing.

Our clones are all max height, white skin, purple eyes and grey hair all have the collectors armour, We do have our own colour to help us distinguish who is who, and we don’t just type /dance we make many dif Patterns with our dances some favourites are line dancing, box dancing but my fav is the matrix effect, I can post some screen shots later when I get home

The founders of DANC have had many positive comments from Anet and we hope to see you all soon.

It's a simple thing... but I have to say I love when people do things like this. Just some good innocent, non-gameplay related fun. It puts a smile on my face every time I see those dancers in Pre-Searing Ascalon. It's just something to give the area more character... more life...

I think the reason it is so enjoyable is because others stop and join in. I can't imagine it being all that fun if we tried to do it in Droks for example because as you get further into the game people are too busy with quests etc to care to stop for a few minutes and have some good old fun! (thats a huge generalisation i know, but I think it is true for many).

We find that dancing in the Shing Jea Monestery is great because there are just heaps of new people coming in and they all get in the groove with us - i guess its the same for the eles in Pre searing.

However, the Dancing Ritualists intend on completing the game and so our dancing will continue to feature in all the towns and outposts around Cantha - so be warned! Join in or with us or you life will never be truely complete.

I think that is true. It is just a bit of harmless fun and new players and old players can stop buy for a few moments and have a laugh and some fun

Ah yes i saw that... have a screenie somewhere. I was laughing my ass off. All the same looking L1 E's with nearly the same names. Ill try to find it.

Yes and I wanted to buy someone who wanted to sound smart until i found out that there's millions doing it for free.

It's an aspect of the game , they enjoy it and it's amusing to enter a city and see this kind of small "events" happening. They don't offend anyone, and actually they don't even have to be in front of their computer screen.
Why is this less "valid" than farming gold/fame/mountain troll tusks?

people like video games and they like to do silly things within the games, and these guys are actually providing a funny note. I didn't see anyone flaming the members of top alliances that control towns and have to do hardcore farming to keep their faction points coming for "not having a life".
