the winning faction should get a reward, perhap's the losing alliance can only access their elite mission, whilst the winning can access both?

Etnaran Keys (the Luxon advantage map) is also slightly biased towards the Kurzicks. The 2 shrines closest to Kurzicks are the ele and warrior shrines, whereas the Luxons get necro and mesmer shrines which are pretty much useless. The Kurzicks, for some reason, also get an attack shrine, which gives an incredibly good buff that arguably negates the Luxon advantage of having shrines closer to their base.
That's probably the biggest reason why Etnaran Keys (and Saltspray, which is apparently biased towards Kurzicks although I've not noticed it) is such a common map.

I have seen the durhiem archives(sp?) taken by the luxons on more than one occasion. I have no idea what map they were fighting on, because i was just wandering around in pve at the time. The npc guards fighting each other was amusing and there was a message across center screen stating that such had taken place. The last time i recall seeing it was around 3am pst last week saturday, if i recall correctly.
Actually i am rather surprised that the line moves at all, considering how long the wait is before a match starts sometimes. I am also curious about how the game decides when its time to change the battlefront map position and if the "consecutive wins" display was meant to be included at all with them.
At least its more interesting than fort aspenwood, assuming it doesnt become a landslide victory for one side or another. Its a shame that the jade quarry sees about zero play though, the C&H with supply lines seems interesting as well.

I am Luxon and I'd definitly have to disagree with you there; Luxon have a much bigger advantage. The ressurection and the ressurection orb shrines and much easier to get to for Luxons, and they are argueably the most important shrines in the map.

The Kurzicks. But then, half the Luxon army are Kurzicks. (If you get my drift.)
That's another issue that needs adressing....

No joke. I've never been able to play that mission. This screenie from my last attempt, this saturday during peak hours on european servers, says it all:

they need to make each battle more significant. so the luxons/kurzicks are constantly moving across each other.
that would be interesting.

ArenaNet is winning. Made up a war to make money. It's an old and tried recipe :P
Everyone but a few should cross over to one side and beat the other to a pulp, just to see if the war ever ends that way.

Yes, but numbers make no difference whatsoever. If there are 8 kurzicks and 80,000 luxons, if the 8 Kurzicks are very experienced they could in theory beat the luxons right back to cavalon.

Simple reason: This missions doesn't give as much Faction as Fort Aspenwood.
It's also far more biased towards Kurzicks than Aspenwood is biased to Luxons, so there's hardly a reason for Luxons to play there, and there's very little reason for Kurzicks unless they want easy victories.
I also want to start this map, since it contains some % and I want that Carthographer title, so I'd apreciate it if ANet increased the reward there

i thought the line gets updated every 3 hours? not 12. if anything.. they should change the line movement to every hour to hour 30 mins.

Either the other players have been on the losing side when the Kurzicks win on this map, because when ever I play on the kurzick's side, I am on the losing side. The luxions have a clear advantage to my perspective, but given the reason that saltspray and etnaran keys are the only maps ever played, it may be understandable that the Kurzicks players are starting to adapt to the map, and are beginning to see tactical advantages, then using certain skills and tactics to best take the advantage away from the luxions.
My suggestion to luxions players is to stop losing at saltspray and push the Kurzicks back, it appears to me that the only way for the Luxions to win is with an advantage, now that may not alway be the case, but from my perspective it is.
