Fun Foot Race!
The Azail Guard is hosting a foot race! This is not for profit, we just had a test race and had a lot of fun, so we wanted to see if anyone else was interested in it.
Right now we have 4 judges, so we can have 20 runners (5 runners, 1 judge per group). The race goes from Yak's Bend to Sanctum Cay.
The race is in heats- the first person to the next zone gets a point, and the person with the most points wins! The hardest part to all this was trying to find a way to sync everyone up. We ended up using my guild's TS server and having all the judges on it. Then, we basically used a "ready set go" method once everyone was ready to go. It worked out quite well and everyone had a blast.
The winner (not a member of our alliance, much to our dismay ), walked away with some pocket lining. I just wanted to see if there was any interest in a race on a larger scale, and if so, if anyone had any suggestions on how to improve it. If you're interested in racing, let me know.
There IS a cash prize. It's gotten through entry fees, and the entirety is given to the winner. As I said before, it's completely non-profit (except of course to the winner ) and screenshots will be taken before and after for posterity as well as security. So, post away, please tell me what you think, and please make my face red when you tell me this is in the wrong spot and then quickly point me to the correct spot that was right in plain sight even though I looked forever for it and couldn't find it! Thanks!

Meh, quick editing job to prevent the "wall of text" effect. Took out a few sentences, unnecessary commas and periods.
May the reader's eyes live on!

Sorry about that...it evolved in trillian, and it was so late last night that I just copy+pasted it *blush*. Thanks for the bit of free editing, opeth.
