I seen this on factions interview with jeff so i wanted to post it on this forum. so people can know.

Factions also has something called Elite Missions which are area’s that are accessible to you by your Guild Alliance if your Guild Alliance controls the city. and by areas intended for ascended characters, does he mean viz square (foreign quarter)?

Ascended character areas = UW/FoW. I don't know exactly when a Factions character is considered "ascended" though, since you can enter UW/FoW through ZKC. :\

a "faction ascended" character is whoever does the nahpui quarter mission, wich i think is the fourth mission.

Think about what "Closer to the Stars" really means. Its the... um... messed up pseudo-asian way of saying "Ascended". What interests me is how the various forms of ascension will figure into the later chapters of Guild Wars.
