I don't think there will be a rollback. Having said that, I hope they don't fix it soon either. Whenever they do that, the people staying at home playing fulltime usually end up getting richer and increasing whatever gap there is between rich and poor. If they leave the game the way it is all weekend, then the casual players and people that work (nod to those that work nights and weekends being exceptions) would also be affected by this, thus balancing the issue out a bit more. While some people say the prices of their items would drop, well the reverse is also true, they can buy more for cheaper as well themselves.
So, if they don't rollback the server, then I hope they leave the game in its state through the weekend so you don't get the stay-at-homes getting even richer as with the other updates in the past. I, myself, don't think that I want a rollback either. I don't buy/collect golds because they already drop so much in Cantha. I collect greens, but only by killing the stuff dropping them. I have never owned 15k or fissure armour and in fact preferred collector's armour for the longest time (till I ran out of storage), and most of that probably won't change. I bought my first superior absorption ever recently at the really low prices. I play the game quite a bit too - Grandmaster Cartographer Tyria/Cantha, Protector Tyria/Cantha, account 1 year old. Every time they fix something without rolling back (with the exception of the double mod axe exploit which they removed from the game), the damage is already done. Those that witnessed it already have theirs, and they have an in-game mechanism to prevent others from getting theirs (the update).
I just want to get out there and get that new hammer :-) I think it looks sharp lol..

This is too minor for a rollback.
Henchman droping gold: couple K gained.
Merchants screwing up prices: More then 100k SCREEEWWWING UP THE ECOMOMY DANGEROUSLY.
If it takes that much to reroll they'd probably reroll the servers to before everyone got their R3 emotes from using IWAY.

I don't think it's a big deal at all. Really, who cares about the gold or items? This isn't a game about wealth anyhow, so if everyone gets rich and has nice things so much the better.
Might get more people into Jade Quarry then.
Leave it as is, let people have fun and load up. No one gets hurt and we all enjoy.

I feel your pain, fellow workers, as I also can't take part in the "madness" that is ensuing after this update because of my silly need for money . But I definitely agree that there probably won't be a rollback, just a bug fix. If there were going to be a roll back, they would have done it already......

Everyone gets screwed in a rollback, don't be so close-minded to think you're guild is the only group getting the shitty end of the stick.
I love all you saying "leave it so those of us at work can catch up" some sound logic you have there.

Actually, leave it because even though it's different that doesn't mean it's broke.
Just let it be, now and forever. Why not?

I really don't care. I'm not going to get rich of this (simply because I don't feel like farming), and probably others won't either, because of whatever reason, though, why would I care that someone else got rich and happy? Good for them, but doesn't make the game any worse for me.
Good luck with your gold everyone!

Somehow the relevance eludes me.
Now, monsters fight, you clean up after and collect the loot. This allows for the average non-farming Joe to go out with a team of henchies and have at least some drops occur without fear of the henchies taking them.
Everyone wins.
Besides, it's a paced gain for all, not a wealth spike for a fortunate few.

I don't get why people think this exploit is something that can stay. It's basically giving people a way to make money without having to lift a finger (like botting, only without the against-the-EULA-ness).
If gold and the economy is unimportant to this extent, then why don't they just let everyone choose a full set of green weapons and 15k armor when they create a new PvE character?
I like free money as much as the next guy, but this is a tad rediculous.
(That said, I don't think there will be a rollback. People would be losing a whole day of progress, as well as all of the new greens that they got. There would be a LOT of unhappy campers in Tyria.)

If ANet meant to do this, then it's something that players and the in-game economy will eventually adapt to. I can't see more drops as a bad thing. The group of monsters that wins the battle can still kill you--it's not like you're getting a *completely* free lunch.
If ANet slippped up and monsters aren't supposed to be dropping loot when they kill each other, then they'll fix it. No rollback. Especially not after the introduction of the Totem Axe, Rotwing Recurve Bow, etc. just yesterday.

Personally, I agree that a rollback is unlikely (as that would have an even more unpleasant effect on the economy due to the Green-farming situation), but the issue needs to be addressed. The gold is not a monumental amount and will not crash the economy overnight, but of course Arena.Net will do something... right?
Or... MORE MINIPETS! Same retarded solution as many of the issues that they have yet to address! Brilliant!

Again, I'll say...Nothing is flooding into the economy any faster than what already was...So what, I can watch some stuff die and pick up the stuff, It probably woulda been faster for me to just have killed all the stuff.
It isn't like these monsters are all of a sudden dropping 15^50 Gold Cys. Swords when you arent the one killing them. Its the same stuff you or henchies woulda got if you killed them.

Plus not every boss can be mobbed for their green with this trick, only a few, and those were crap ones anyway (geoffers bulwark)
I know that an experience Warrior could run out, aggro a huge mob, unleash it on a boss, then get the green if it drops, and sell in kaieng.
But that would reduce green prices, and that is an good thing (sunreach's shield 100k+ ecto? omgwtfhax, its the same stats as exaulted aegis, crappier skin)
Remember, anet made greens as a cheap alternative to getting high end weapons.

It's been how log now since the update was released? About a whole day, right? I think if Anet would've thought this issue was major enough to justify a rollback, they would've done it by now. No way they're gonna revert the whole game for more than a couple of hours, let alone a whole day!
