the elder wolf is actually lvl 15 i captured the skill for my ranger and the elder wolfs that were around were lvl 15 not 20, the UW spider is lvl 20 but wolf is not. prima guide says its 20 and we all know how reliable prima is. you know the guide says the cape is only 100g.

For me it depends on the character.
Rangers are my favorite jobs becuase of the beast mastery, and each of my characters are rangers and thay all have pets. All that pets are different to fit each caharacter. My ranger/warror has a stider becuase by accident I made her a little small and I decided to give her the biggest pet a strider named tweety, my warrior/ranger i gave him a bear because he tanks and I like the bear it is like a pet tank named chrusher , my rannger/elementalist has a wolf from pre becuase of the aggresive nature named fang , my necro/ranger has a dune lizard becuase I could not think of any other pet that matches named my kitty (that name I chose becuase it is kinda funny), and my ritualist/ranger has a tiger because there was no other pet around when she started. I have grown to like him named kahn. My assassin/ranger has a pet but he is the only one who doesn't use it brecuase I use apply poison for him (he has a phoenix named talon).
