I don't think it's really a bug...but I can't find the reward guy after Into the Whirlpool. Only thing left to do, then I'll have beaten all the kurzick stuff. Starting on Luxon now

still having lag/freeze problems
After the 2 updates I am still having lag/freezing problems with the etnaran pvp mission with the many players. I have never had problems like this where i lag so much that my entire computer freezes. I am using a ATI graphics card and this problem arises both when I am in the mission and when I am forming a group. I have been playing all day in other areas of tyria and cantha and have not had this problem except in etnaran alliance battles. If anyone else has had this problem with a ATI graphics card and were able to fix it, please tell me what you did or if I could get a post from a dev if they are working on some lag problems in that area. I havent been able to complete playing that battle all day through 5 tries in which each time i had to restart my computer. Any help would be appreciated on whether its my bad computer, maybe a connection problem (i highly doubt) or some bug. Thanks and great job on all the other stuff you guys did for us for free this weekend.

I have nvidia and I too am getting the lag. Just so many people playing is part of the problem. The attack the Kurzick bug for the last group was horrible. didn't spawn till I left the area and had to run back down the mountainside to fight them. Won though and that it all that matters.

when i lay a spirit with my rit, if i lay that spirit again it kills the first spirit.

This is normal. This was an update a long time ago where you can no longer spirit spam, it sucks sometimes, yea, but its for a good reason.

My bug report - this happens in both profesies and factions but ive never reported it - some Monsters show that they have no health when the really do and it doesnt update at all. It seems to happen more in factions.

kill the Kurdziks Quest
i had a problem with the kill the Kurdziks near the Turtle hatchery (cant spell it which is why im doing Luxon quests).
The groups either werent spawning or were taking a very long time to do so, standing at the green marker did not result in a group - only when i moved so the marker was off the map did a group spawn.
The last group did not show up so i headed the direction that the others came from - the teams Ritualist had been casting spirits that had blocked the path - the AI eventually made it through in ones and two but was quite easy to ambush the split up group even with the boss.

In the courtyard to the north immediately outside the Altrumm Ruins, while attacking several mobs, my character's shadow flickered like crazy, in a manner obviously not intended. I was playing a Ritualist in a party of all henchies with a couple of spirits running, and it happened with each mob encounter - once the battles were over, the shadow would stop flickering. Totally repeatable behavior, and I've not encountered it anywhere else in the game, either in the FPE or in Prophecies, so I doubt it's my graphics card.

Not read the whole thread so not sure if anyone else has had this...
Created a As/Rt and when I hover the mouse over the skill I have in slot 7, I don't get the skill description pop up...I get the current weapon slot details!! If I leave the cursor there, after about 15 seconds, the skill decription appears, but then it reverts back to the weapon slot details.
Also found that when I was clicking the skill in slot 7, it wouldn't activate 90% of the time and I had to use the keyboard.
Only with slot 7 though, all others seemed to work. And here's a screen shot of it. Unfortunately, you can't see the cursor in the image, but I double checked that the cursor was over skill slot 7.

Not sure if this is a bug or a feature...
When doing the recruit 4 new people quest in the Luxon area, I collected all 4 of them then headed back to the Recruiter. The recruits are a bit slow, so I got there a bit ahead of them. I started the conversation, noticed that the recruits weren't there yet, so waited for them to arrive. They stopped a short distance away, but when I tried to complete the quest I was told I had not finished it. Looking around, I now had 1 recruit and 3 peasants! I went off to collect them again, but no luck - they were not there any more.

I had this bug a few times, when I was out on various PvE areas. With the assassin when I Death's Charge to an enemy she starts running back to the location you casted it instead of attacking it. /doh
I've encounterd this a few times now, in various areas. It isnt very harmful tho, but it really ruins the suprise attack.

In the competitive mission areas such as Fort Aspenwood and Jade Quarry, you cannot form a party to return back out the warp. This means you have to teleport to the closest previous town to do so, which is very annoying.
Also, not really a bug, but there should be some sort of timeout for the healer hench if its the only one alive, and its not rezzing. How annoying is it when healer hench just keeps running round in circles cause it cant decide who to rez, and you have to restart the whole mission/quest cause you dont respawn!!!?!??!!!

I found out what's up with the missions not working

So anywhere else that had a Enter Mission button, apparently the button isn't supposed to work until the retail release of the game. They have recently removed the Enter Mission button in the areas that aren't supposed to have it, so that kinda helps...

Too many pages to read here, so i might write about something someone already wrote, but:
A few times when i fight monsters their health doesn't show, and when they are hurt enough they just die. Sometimes their health starts showing a few minutes later.
One time i was walking with a henchie party and suddenly i stopped moving and all of the henchies were standing where i was at the same spot. The henchies kept spreading around and coming back, but even when none of them were where i was i still couldn't move (not with the keyboard and not with the mouse).
And the funniest thing.. The image of the item 'Writhing Focus' is actually a head of a builder-guy with the text 'Under Construction'...
O and another minor thing.. The animation of the cape for a ritualist when he's sitting is really not smooth, looks square and not smooth on his back.

I already complained about this once, but it deserves another complaint. Shadow Stepping needs a fix. Sometimes you get stuck either in a wall, or with the feet burrowed under the ground. It's really annoying since nothing helps. Rebirth perhaps, but no other res, and shadow stepping your way out of there doesn't work, and Rebirth requires you to die which isn't always possible.

Keyboard Related Annoyances / Engaging Henchies + Pets
This is a wonderful game extension. For those that don't know me, I hate to use a mouse; I have very painful wrist problems and mice hurt. So, my primary problem /w the game is mouse oriented. Most of these are old issues, but they are now more important /w good use of Factions.
1. With the 12 person party, I need to be able to set F9-F12 to choose members of my party from 9 to 12.
2. (old issue) Please assign ALT+F1-F12 to pick *opposing* team members. One of the big problems with spirit spam about 9 months ago was that targeting a particular opponent was very burdensome: you had to tab through a sea of spirits before you got to your victim. This is specially difficult for mesmers and rangers who are often switching between 2-3 targets rapidly. With Factions, this problem re-emerges due to the large number of players (12) and all of the damn spirits: in one match, there were over 40 spirits.... it would take up-to 4-5 seconds to find a particular non-called target via the keyboard!
3. (old issue) In order to use ashes, I need a keyboard hook so that I can drop ashes; at this time I simply cannot use 1/3 of the ritualist skills. This is an old issue, since I've occasionally wanted to drop the flag with the keyboard, but there doesn't seem to be a way.
4. (old issue) I would like a keyboard mechanism to drop the most recent maintained enchantment up. At this time I cannot use "Holy Veil" or "Watchful Spirit" (and I often play a monk). In factions there are more skills like these - and it would be nice to be able to use them.
5. (old issue) I have no easy way to select the guild lord /w a keyboard. What would be nice is a way to TAB through "allies" that are _not_ party members. This would also allow me to target pets, minions, and spirits for healing. With the new Ritualist spirits, this is increasing in importance (in a similar way, it would be nice to have a way to tab through enemy spirits and non-player allies).
6. (old issue) Just by calling a target, your pet and/or henchmen should charge. At this time, you have to bring an attack skill or use a wand to engage them - and it's not the best idea if your character is "defensive". This was always a problem, but for Ritualists, it is even more important.
I'm sure there are more keyboard related issues. If you could just assign a developer to work on them for a day or so it would be excellent.

:S this morning i came onto the FP event, and all was fine, small lags, hardly noticeable..
i came back on about 3, 4 hours later and ...my game refreshing frames very visibly, i turn and i can see all the lil frames, and its incredibly laggy,full colour.. thats when i play in a window
but when i do full screen, no lag, nothing at all....BUT...im playing in black and white..
anyone know whats wrong?

I think my lag problem is caused by sound, now I have to turn the quality all the way down to play smoothly.
