I don't see the problem, Anet likes money and can add in character slots easily and cheaply, people want character slots and will give Anet lots of nice shiny money for them.

Its not as if were asking for freebies here, its easy cash waiting to be had.

well in the US it's still spring lol but it won't be summer til June 21 or 22 officially but for ppl who still go to school , it maybe there summmer hence despite that it isn't officially summer yet

if someone would to buy the same chapter they owned on their account already and added the key to it you don't get nothing but if they added an option like getting certain number of slots for adding the same chapter would be great besides things like purchasing your slots online or buying game cards that add slots at your retailer which on it's own a nice option since certain parts of the world ppl actually buy time cards for GW

extra slots probably also increases the vulnerability to bot accounts - so the coding for those extra slots is likely being slowed by inserting methods to prevent that. Hopefully...

2. permanent pre-sear
3. shuttle for my mule account, so when my pre gets a black dye
4. mesmer, may wait for chapter 3 though
5. so I can do all the different catha primary skill quests (the panda)

then who knows, I might make some male/female counterparts

In addition to the coding I imagine there's a good amount of hardware that Anet would have to add on to handle a higher level of storage. Having had to buy a few high-end storage systems I can vouch for the fact that unfortunately it can sometimes take a while to get it purchased, delivered, up and running and connected to a world-wide network...so it isn't quite as easy as collecting $10 from each of us and changing 20 lines of code. That said...I can't wait to add another character slot or two to my account!

I just want to add a ranger to my second account... I already have 12 lvl 20 characters including every profession except Mesmer. (They just weren't my style)

I have sent a letter to ANet through the help site and the reply I got is that they are unsure of the exact date atm. The Char slots will be $9.99 USD each and we should watch GuildWars.com for more info

Well you save $20 USD if you add 6 new slots to a Prophesies/Factions account. It would cost about $80 USD to just get another account with both campains.
