Learn something new everyday...
I just recently happened upon a Req. 8 Ritualist staff. It was actually req. Restoration!
After all that searching I finally find 2 in the same day _-_. So in yer' face nay Say-ers ^_^, it does exist. It also happened to be a ghostly. The second one was a Zodiac some guy was selling. The thing is, no collector or green item on the whole of Cantha is req. restoration. Even the end-game green restoration weapon is req. friggin' Spawning. So all you restoration rits out there, keep your eyes open for these staves.
Second great discovery of the day is Vengeful Weapon: I really need to start reading descriptions better _-_. It reads '... the next time target ally takes damage from a foe...'. Yep, that's right. Any damage. It even works on direct damage spells!
So what do you do when an enemy drops a bog standard Aoe? You run in, spam Vengeful and watch as that foe reels in horror as you leach 63 hp from them every 3 seconds. Even as they run out of spell range. Works great on Firestorm. With 2 rits using said tactics, it's just nasty. If only Vengeful was Khanhei had the same properties .
It's just a shame most Elementalist Aoe's only last 5 seconds. However there is an exception to the rule. Maelstrom requires some deft foot work or fingers to catch though, or you'll end up getting interrupted. Vengeful has a 1/4 second cast so it's at least do-able.
So there we have it. The truth about restoration req. weapons, and a nice effect I never before noticed on another skill that makes Mirror Of Ice complete and utter garbage.
Anyone else learned anything new and bizarre lately...?
EDIT: News just in. It even works on traps! .

Ah ok. so this isn't new then. Talk about annoying. Anet always find a way to make something 'valuable'. I imagine the price on these weapons will sky-rocket if restoration Rit's become really popular.
Btw heres a pic of mine...

I really don't think Restoration staves/weapons are something new. I've had my Restoration staff for about 2-3 weeks now (a gold Forbidden Staff), and I recall seeing (and bidding on) a Restoration Req. Ghostly Staff in the first week Factions launched.
Oh, and here is the guildwiki entry on Ritualist green weapons (seems you're right about the greens not having Restoration reqs. here though): http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Rituali...uick_reference.

I learned you can GvG with only 5 players...has to be 3 real people and 2 hench. 5 is minimum amount and at least 1/2 have to be people from your guild.

If you double-tap backward, you do a 180
I only recently learned that you could zoom in and out using the mousewheel on the "U" map :E
One that I find the majority of players don't know about is ctrl-shift-space targeting. You get an "I'm targeting xyz!" message instead of an "I'm attacking xyz!" message and you don't automatically attack that target. I use it all the time. It's especially good for directing henchies.
I also recently learned that typing "/petname" then nothing resets your pet to it's evolved name. Got that from one of the helpful people here
My hog Ozzy (Ozzy = Ozzy Osbourne = Black Sabbath = song called War Pigs) is a Hearty Warthog

i recently found out farming actually makes a lot of money :P heheheh
yeah that targeting is very usefull indeed whilst playing with henchies, if you attack you will be the one the enemy mobs will attack, and as the monk that i am its easier to stay a bit behind
