Titan source - before the map jump feature was added you deserved the 50k Xp for just being able to form a party for it.
Iron horse war machine - with the rezoning and the plans dropping for henches the first 3 times you do it (is this fixed yet?)
That mission on the fire islands where you first get to fight a titan at the end and it just stands in the corner sulking while you batter it to death.
The quest in the desert where you have to kill that minotaur that just takes off into the distance most of the time.

Anything involving the non-mappable Ascalon Settlement. They even had to put the Wintersday quests around there...arg.

I like every quest or mission as long as they are optional. I hate every mission that cannot be skipped to proceed to the next part of the game.

Uh, it's been a long time, but the most annoying ones I can remember:
Helping the Dwarves
-clearing the same area multiple times in a row, just to fulfil some pretty unrewarding quests is kinda boring
Ranger Master Nentes Quest
-don't remember the actual name, but the one where you have to "sell" your pet to charm him a stalker. Did not want to get rid of my warthog just for a silly quest. That it gives skills didn't make things less annoying for my ranger...

God I hate that one. Hate it with a passion. Who gives a sh*t about freakin' Melandru's Stalkers, after all? My wolf was good enough for me.
But it gave skills as a reward, and I was too cheap to buy them, so it was goodbye Wolfy until I got to Yak's Bend.

I can't believe no1 came up with that one earlier.
It's particularly anoying since this quest is given on a stage in the game where you probably already explored and cleared the quests in that area (caravan and some mesmer/ele q's)
So you have to go back...walk that bastard through a cleared area because else he will honorably suicide himself on any monster you missed.
And then go back again to kill the other... most annoying.
most q's are quite 'mixable' so this won't happen but this one always bites the most.

My most hated mission is the Aurora Glade for several reasons
1st never seems to be many people in the district so your choices for making up a team are limited, never see any monks.
2nd most pug teams that I have been in have failed at least 2x before finally getting past the 3 portals.
3rd is that we always seem to get 1 or 2 rage quitters after failing to get the bonus mission. I did this mission 4x last night and still was not able to move past the mission with my lv19 necro /mo.
I agree with witchdoctor
With out a doubt the jungle is the worst area in the game.

Besides the ones mentioned I was also not fond of the Nebo Terrace murder quest (or any of the others connected with it like the blanket quest). Seemed like you had to fight your way through that valley full of Tengu about 3 - 4 times to get everything settled.
I'm pretty much not a fan of any of the quests that make you traverse the same map multiple times, give some lame item and 500xp. It's simply not worth doing unless you just enjoy the scenery.

No, you have it ALL wrong.
The most annoying quest is the ranger quest from Artemis in the Shiverpeaks.
First off, its on the way to the Helping the Dwarves Quest, which you end up having to do. Then you finally complete that one, and NO ONE will help you get BACK to Artemis before she DIES (why? Because you're the ranger).
Can you simply run to Artemis before the Stone Summit KILL her? NO! The ice golems hit you with deep freeze, and you can...not....move.
And what do you get for this? Winter. A skill you don't even need until you get to Hell's Precipice, when EVERYONE wants a ranger with winter (whom they didn't help get it).

I think you mean Thirsty river. Thirsty is the one with the priests you have to kill before they rez the entire forgotten/enchanted army.

You know you can do almost the entire LA -> Ascalon Settlement -> Nebo Terrace stuff without hardly fighting anythign right?
I never take the tengu route any longer.
Leave LA and go towards the swamp and cut through that just briefly towards giant's basin. You can get to the settlement much easier that way (indirect path, but safer)
Then go to Nebo Terrace, and hug the right hand side when you make that conrner and go to the guys for blanket and you don't have to fight anything.
With Henchies you can then run into bettletun with any character.
Use Beetletun as your launching point to get back to Nebo or AS from now on. Then go to Bergen get the quest updated, warp back to Beetle, go back out and get the quests updated. All Done.
A couple of other notes from other posters:
I believe the Nente quest is called "Endangered Species"

Elementalist's Path to kill the Kree Minotuar. The last update said that that has been fixed. Haven't had to do it yet on my new char so can't confirm.
The Artemis quest is annoying, but usually if you run up and agro the group they won't attack her unless they already are. If they are you might as well rezone because you will probably not be able to get to her in time. If you party is being jerks and not helping that's just sad. Get the agro and try to lead them back to them and force them to fight

The Abaddon's Mouth bonus has to be the most annoying.
You have to clear the path all the way to the bonus (including some wurms), then go back, free the girl, and WAIT WAIT WAIT (approximately eternity plus infinity) for her to walk to the Fortress Gate. Speed boosts don't speed her up.
THEN when she gets near the exit, she TURNS AROUND and WALKS BACK nearly to the start point! THEN she TURNS AROUND again and walks back to the gate.....
WHERE SHE STARTS RUNNING!

The holiay quest that we got during X-Mas were annoying since you have to either asked someone where the items is located or (like me) go everywhere to look for them!

i hate most of the quests in the game, namely because i do them with henchmen because they aren't important enough for PUG's...they get dull rather quick, and not having people to chat with haves me end up just pressing numbers idly on my keyboard...
...the quests that have you zone to another outpost to talk to a guy are nice tho, haha

All of Minaar's quests. I hate that I have to go back to the Iron Horse Mine 3 times, and clear out all the monsters all over again each visit -_-

I agree
--
Also The titan quests - not because of the quest in general, but because it is VERY VERY difficult to find a group to complete it, especially the Titans Source. near impossible to get a group unless you go with friends/guild mates.

ummmmm.... I hate Bonus quest of "Divinity Coast". It seems sooo easy, yet you usually end up lost 1 of the chosens, thus fail the bonus entirely.
