Any ideas how to solo the Icy hammer???

edit: I actually managed to solo the Mighty grawls... but no hammer :/

As I said.. a rit can do it... if you really wanna go overboard bring a ranger with EoE and let him barrage while you tank...

The design-a-weapon contest didnt include daggers.

Was it an off-hand focus that they decided would be better as daggers?

Rotwing will be average in price since it is kind of hard to get. but drops everytime. (on the runs i've been on)

Totem -- too ez to farm so thats why it dropped (good i sold mine early =)

And i dunno about the rest i never got a fan tho from farming for totems =(

There are ~3 bosses in the pack of all of those grawls.

There are about ~6-8 grawls, that you can safely engage and kill with glad defence.

Indeed you cant do the bosses alone. I can solo this with a pure sword warrior build. The key is to either run past the bosses, or ignore them completely (you can only do that with the warrior boss). Take out the Barbed Grawl first since they follow you after you hit them once (bring a long/flatbow) and run away from the group till the Mighty ones stop following and let the Barbed ones follow you. You may have to take out a group of Crones and regular Grawl before you attempt this. Drop rate of the hammer and Frozen Fans seems rather low... I've only found one hammer so far. I may share my build after I've found a few more

im gonnna moan about this again,i didnt get a dl in wajjuun bazaar where the tattered rit fan is supposed to be,which makes me wonder if greens could be located in other places where noone got dl's...(and i got dl in every other area where new things were)

I don't know if this is worth anything, but I did get a d/l in Bukdek Byway earlier. Maybe it's there instead?

EDIT:my guess is that there is an ele or monk fan in an area full of am fah,just seems possible that they get one as well as jade,but thats just me

Heres a quick update, after soloing and dual running the grawls, Mighty grawls have to be weilding the Ice Breaker for it to drop (and if they are wielding it, it will drop), makes it pretty easy to farm that way.

However I tried the hit and run tactic with Conjure Nightmare and Phantasm but if the grawl are running away from you they wont drop

they have to be engaged with you to drop. So I guess I'll just stick to my mass killing solo.
