kaya..not nice..lol Gaile did explain the Emperor thing, besides it will likely coincide wiht emjperor being there at the end for a VERY special event, considering if the emperor showed up at exactly midnight last night(all times in PDT) then he wouldn't be there for Midnight tonight, his last time showing up would be at 10:00 I do believe that there was a point to the "two hours late" thing.

7:00 AM GMT = 1:00 AM CST = 2:00AM EST
I want to know WHO in the HELL picks these times. Can we have better time management of these damn events? Stop putting shit at the END of events when they are gonna BLEED into after hours...
I don't care if its considered complaining, it's common sense. IT screws over customers.

Uhm, Omega, i'll throw you a word i will get flamed to death for. Timezones. Enjoy.
About the thing that true canthans don't want to miss. That's simply a somewhat confusing choice of words in my humble opinion. The event is based upon the Canthan Empire. And who else, besides those true loyal Canthans would celebrate a speech from Kisu about some Dragon showing the way?
That's basically why it says that true canthans won't want to miss this. It's simply from a somewhat roleplay point of perspective. If your president holds an important speech, it's something americans don't want to miss. Same wording, you see?

Thats not exactly true, because im an american and i could care less on wat the president says..
And I hope the last time he shows up wont be at 10:00.. enspecially if there IS a special thing that happens the last time he shows! I'm gonna be commin hope from watchin fireworks at that time, assuming I am correct about when they end.. I hope its not at 10, or there isnt something special the last time....

Which is why any sort of time schedual for any sort of event should be available for at least 24 hours. And personally, I think thats what we've seen. If there is more, some people would miss it, and I don't think Arenanet would want to exclude its customers from the States. They know its the 4th of July as well as the Dragon Festival.

They should just schedule 3 event times, one for each of the three continents (Europe, America and Korea) and during this time not allow anyone to change the territory...
I'm in a -5 Gmt zone and sure as hell i'm not staying up until 2 am just to see the last event. Some people actually have to get up and go to work in the morning.

Please can someone with Fraps make a recording of whatever happens right at the end....
God awful time to finish it frankly, 7/8 AM during a a weekday (assuming there is some kind of big finale which isn't the Emperor as already seen)...

Something will or can still happen... after all there will have to be a switch for Kisu to the dragon collector that will still be there for a week... so I'm still thinking something big or bigger might happen. I'm going to wait up to see... but I think my logic makes sense yeah?

Nothing spectacular that was actually supposed to happen. Basically, people misread this as something unique happening at the last instance of the finale, and it didn't.
Of course, Kisu and the other NPCs cloned themselves, games didn't work, people got banned for no apparent reason, and the update to close the event has yet to arrive.
