And tell my why Guildwars doesn't have those items in the beginning? They make the game hugely plain with the boring weapons and such, and then go and design amazingly good looking weapons for PRE-ORDERS ONLY.

WHY????? WHAT WERE YOU THINKING ANET!??/

Are they money laundering gits? Why don't they release these amazing looking weapons for the rest of us? Furthermore, why can't the preorder people trade them to other people?

Why go too all the trouble of designing them, drawing them, and then modelling them so that some idiot with extra cash can get them and nobody else? This game is about skill. There's no such skill involved in getting a pre-order.

I swear they're going to release all those pre-order weapons in the future as "paid" expansion packs. So the rest of us who've never seen them will give Anet more cash to put in their pockets. This kind of business is really really annoying.

What pisses me off even more is that we spend ages in elite missions trying to get one green cool looking item whilst some random guy spends a little more money to get the same. And not even to get the same, to get an extremely unique weapon.

Another thing that pisses me off is the Pay for Factions and get 2 slots if you add onto Prophecies.

But I guess that's done to death already. Yet another example of how stupid the people at Anet can be sometimes.

And from those pictures, it shows that Anet developers aren't complete art retards. Really don't understand why they can't make better weapons for the REST OF US.

i think the point of the post is...

that they introduce these new unique items that are only available by spending more RL money

vs they represent no in game achievement

but thats how everything goes...

im a little lsot myself though because i preordered and the items i got for factions preorder are just ghey...im already assuming these are not from factions preorder...

im a little confused also in that different areas get different items basically im seeing a racialistic attachment to these items... don't personally like the segregation myself

making pre-order items "different" is a reward to loyal customers..making ppl feel special will make them come back and spend more money on the game which in turn make Anet profit and we all know a business needs to make profit to survive..

why beat around the bush? saves having another 3 page long thread with ppl just constantly repeating each other.

What the hell has concealing funds generated by illegal means got anything to do with anet? If you know something I dont then I suggest you inforn the appropriate authorities.

Those were the Japanese Pre-Orders, they were more of a cultural thing. Of course the Korean Coke items were the best looking shields I have ever seen.

Each reagion has it's own exclusive stuff, I belive Japan does not have our glowing weapons (I can't remeber what they are called)

You know I really don't like it when players criticize MOG developers negatively. ANet is working around the clock trying to bring us a good gaming experience, FREE of a monthly fee at that. For you to sit there and take personal shots is childish. If you have real criticism, then that's a different story. Well you do have another option, just /ragequit since ANet's so stupid.

Like someone previously said, they have to keep certain things 'special' and certain things not so special. Otherwise nothing would be special.
