I've always been just a big Shortbow Dude myself.

In PvE I carry:
Elswyth's Longbow (Its good for a cheap Longbow, Poisonous works great for a longbow anyway, especiallt totem axe runs)
A Zealous Shortbow
A Sundering Shortbow (just for times I don't need Zealous on)
And the Trappers 18 energy staff.

I get called all sorts of names for using mainly Shortbows...but I LOVE THEM.

YES I know Flatbows have the same firing rate but longer range so they are better for tombs runs where Fav is always up...I just don't want to bring along ANOTHER bow just for that instance when a shortbow is fine most of the time :\

In PvP I do use bows based on builds. Recurve is for anything based on interupting or oathshoting, and Horns are more for spikes and the such.

I have a friend who ADORES Longbows on his ranger, and doesn't use much else, and another friend that simply won't use anything but Recurve stat'ed bows...

someone in this thread said they dyed their bow. i didn't know you could do that. i assume dying my eternal bow works like dying an eternal shield?

I use almost 15 bows at once. They all have different mods and different uses. But my favorite(skinwise) it my bramble flatbow. It's dyed white and has almsot perfect stats. Then my favorite damagewise is my customised half mood. It shoot fast and does a butt load of damage per hit. Then my favorite kind of bow is the shortbow it has fast speed. So thats about it.

Zealous Deadbow of Fortitude - using it a lot more now
Sundering Amber Longbow of Fortitude - not using as much as I should :|
Dragos Flatbow - Barrage and pulling
Sundering Shortbow of Fortitude - Use when henching, since I get swarmed anyways
Vampiric Shadow Bow of Fortitude - Barrage (its the only vamp bow I have, so it's not too bad)
Graygore Zealous Shortbow - Never really use

All are 14-15>

Pretty disappointed with the factions skins... although the Platinum looks pretty snazzy. Recurve/Deadbow is by far my favorite to use.

I like my Rotwing cause it looks cool and I think it will be useful for interupting in pvp....

In pve tho, Dragos Flatbow all the way!

I have a crap ascalon bow (collectors) with a vamp string on it, also for pvp.
and the storm bow I searched forever to get ^_^ Some guy was nice enough to sell it for 3k back when they were uber popular cause he was tired of spamming.
