But the hate in 55 and warmo... is about the industrial farm... not about rangers or ele farming a bit...

Actually you can "industrially" farm with a ranger. I'm not a farmer (I mean.. I don't spend 90% of my time soloing stuff) but when I do farm, it's generally with my ranger...

The OP seems to forget that healing breathe is something used by healers too... The point of using healing breathe with a healer is to keep a decent amount of hp when the target is suffering low constant damage. No point carrying it if it ends when the target has full hp: any healing spell would be better than this regen enchant then.

My 2 cents to the OP: you really shouldn't have replaced mending in your skillbar by Conjure Flames - that's not good on guru...

everyone has to learn and the "mending wammo" is the easiest and best choice for a new player

granted once they hit lvl20 and have some exp they should dump the lame build but if there was no lame players/builds you lot would have nothing to bitch about.


here's a shocking idea..help! meet a bad player...give them advice!! i know that may shock some of you but not all ppl are dumb and a few will take the advice in and might even improve thier playing ability.

instead of making another lame thread try thinking of ways of helping the new players..write a guide offer help ect

moral of the story is..deal with it, there will always be lame players and lame builds to go along with them

That's sooo true, and it can be applied under soo many circumstances...

I mean: flame someone in RA because he has rebirth instead of a rez sig, call him noob, and he won't listen to you. Explain him in a few words rez sigs are more efficient there, and he will thank you for the advice and change the skill.

Now to the one who posted mending should be nerfed to prevent players from using a mending "noobish" build: remember one thing, young padawan: noobiness can't be nerfed...

And again, being a newb are 2 different things.

Making Prot spirit only reduce 20% dmg will RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO it up for every PvP monk who use it. 500 hp /5 = 100.. Will only help vs dmg thats over 100 x.x. Skill = very bad. Also a monk would never use a whole 15 energy to reduce lets say only dmg thats over 100!! >_>

you people just don't get it. You can change the skills again and again, but new builds will be developed. 55 is just the most popular at the moment because it has worked for a long time. Get rid of it and they will just move on to another build. Then the only thing that has happend is we made a few skills less usefull to those who use them properly.

Changing skills is not the way to stop farmers.

On a related note, changing mending will not stop stupid players.

First off, w/mo's would have to recast HB & mending nonstop, thus having no energy to do so later. And, 55 builds would lose those enchantments practically instantly after casting, even while being hit. If such a skill change happened, whammos would whine at a.net, and then possibly realize far better profession combos. As for farming 55ers, only the spirit bond monk would be left as a invinci-monk build. Although HB & mending as a skill take a major hit, they're more cost efficient when used right.

this is what makes balanced group different - it has specific distinct roles for each member, while 8 people with solo build is just 8 solo groups with reduced profit...

Bottom line is that things should not be soloable regardless of how much sense changes proposed by OP make. It ruins game economy. It defies the meaning of MM in MMORPG.

Ahahaha its so funny mending is soooooo bad. Yet its is quite possibly, the single most widely used skill in pve (prophecies anyway, prophecies seems to be more newb in this case.) I mean I was in a group trying to cap a skill the other day, I had 4 wammos in my group (3 of them using mending). An ele using mending, a necro using mending, and a monk using mending. That is count um, 6 people using mending, granted the other person besides me was still a nub wammo.

OK this is honestly a terrible solution to a non-existing problem (oh noes that whammo will live about 5 seconds longer before he gets smashed), in the wrong place.
