Not a big deal, but I thought I'd give a heads-up. Sorry if it's been posted before.

actually, a shield is the natural complement for a spear. especially a throwing spear. In military history, only a minority of spearfighters fought without em.

A warrior with secondary profession paragon putting enough attribute points into the required attribute should be able to utilize a paragon shield just fine.

Wow... that's just awesome.. I hope their ingame weapons actually look as good as the concepts...
I remember this one game (horrible MMORPG but was addictive for some reason) called Priston Tale, had the craziest looking weapons/shields...

Not if the para shields are all based on leadership (para's primary).

Why do other countries always get the cooler art, screenshots, item skins, etc.?? Why doesn't anet just release the same stuff for all the countries? I would have never seen these pics if the OP hadn't found them. Unfair

There are more tactics than strength shields for warriors, so I see a good chance that not all paragon shields are based on leadership.

I prefer relating the Paragon to a Javalin/Singer Barbarian Hybrid.Since its main weapon is a spear and will be probably using shouts.

Fend: Attack all adjacent foes. Attacks hit for +2-17 damage. This skill is easily interrupted.

Those are the CG rendered models of the two classes. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw them in the box art and in the upcoming Guild Wars Nightfall cinematic. It's gonna be interesting. I hope the plot of GW:N doesn't suck.

I want a bigger blade on my scythe. The shaft is fine, just need bigger blade, for reapin' stuff. A dervisher/necromancer with armour dyed black would be awesome. Look ust like Death and be able to kill and resurect minions. Awesome!!
