"The Bard" ~ Potential fun build, or bust?
Heya Gents,
Anyone having fun with Paragons? The shout/echo system strikes me as a fun environment to play with. Maybe not kick-butt-to-the-max, but interesting. Lots of little trigger/cause/effect games to be played.
Here's a little something I threw together. Probably some other skills which would make it better of course, but the idea is there to talk about. The idea of bouncing echos via a trigger--that trigger being the Warrior shout for armor. It's fast to get, fast to end. Trigger. Trigger. Trigger. Basically you renew your constant health regen, heal, remove conditions, set things on fire all around you, etc, while buffing your defense and attacking as normal and sending out conditions with attacks that don't even require any points at all in spear.
Paragaon/Warrior
Leadership 12+1 (shouts are cheaper this way... huzzah!)
Motivation 10
Tactics 10
Anyhow, here's a little fun idea.
What do you think? Flaming Bard? Really stupid? Or .... "fun!"
Cheers!

I'd run watch yourself with 0 in tactics to make the echo skills renew constantly.
The 10 second chants that end on condition would be good since they affect all allies.
Echo is going to be so abused.

Seeing that you didnt spend and points in any attack skill I say remove the attack skills from the bar, seems fun thou ...
The attack skills are there to cause conditions as far as I can see but I would leave that to the actual warrior/ranger/paragon/necro and add some other skills

I see it being abused too.
A warrior can easily get constant +3 regen from shouting something all the time with that, for 5 energy. That's stupid. Cheaper unstippable mending. Requires a bit more effort, but safer in the long run (not that mending is PvP anyways....). But regardless, it's an idea.
Not to mention the fire thing. That's just freaking cool. I love that skill.
And that shout: "They're on fire!" lol...
Oh the fun we shall see with Echos.

Its just a flesh wound begs me to plague touch. Clear a party member of all conditions every 4 seconds with 0 cast time and spead deep wound. I have a feeling Fevered Dreams might get to see some use.
If are able to keep the shouts going long enough you could have the echo eventually on everyone.
