I Dont know if this occured to you guys but...55 dervish o_O? scythe = 2 hand weapon..105 doesn't really work too much x.x
and they are bound to make the enchant aoe dmg make monsters run...just like zealots fire/baltazars

You don't have to use a sycthe....
If you have 9 in any attribute(prot, for example) you can use that type of wand in pvp.

This is assuming there is no enchant removal. With the ammount of enchant removal added to the game with the 2 new classes I'll be surprised if you can farm anything solo using enchantments in Nightfalls.

Not to mention the dervish's primary revolves around removing enchantments from itself.
A 55 build would work for a dervish, but i think better ones could be though up of.

With the current 5 and 8 second recharge ya but when that's changed you won't be able to stay alive and deal dmg.

Keep in mind the game isn't going to be released for 4-5 months still. They've got plenty of time to finish up balance issues, and seeing what builds people can think up outside their small community of beta testers is one way to help them achieve the balance by finding their flaws.
Also, it's possible they've overpowered the skills of the new classes in order to give them some appeal during the preview event. Also we haven't seen the 25 new skills for each core class that we'll be getting that will further the balance.
We also haven't seen the new niche for the Nightfall chapter (like Faction's Kurzick/Luxon system) . Mayhaps it will be a day/night system but who knows what it will be. I'm sure the Dervish will be an amazing farmer, but the game makers provide opportunities for farming on purpose, and they also purposefully finds ways to prevent farming everything.
People complained a bit about the assassin during the preview event. It was a bit overpowered in its own ways during the factions preview event, but look where the poor things ended up in the end...poor things...
...Despite all that...I hope all the fear of Dervishes being invincible comes true Go Dervishes!

Those armour selections were almost certainly just filler - otherwise, why would the Dervishes and Paragons have identical armour bonuses?
I'd be astonished if on release the selections weren't completely different.

1. obviously they aren't going to use scythe for enchant spamming
2. if they make monsters run from dervish AE they ruin any use for the dervish in pve.
