Default Elonian Ascension

Idle speculation: I wonder who will be the first Elonian to Ascend in the Crystal Desert once Nightfall characters traverse the waters from Elona to Tyria? Will they follow in their ancestors footsteps and perish in the Desert to be found later as bleeched bones, or will the Elonians survive when their predecessors did not?

What profession will hold this great honor?

Dervish most likely, due to it's connection to the gods.

Lightbulb A couple of predictions...

Greetings,

There are a few predictions I could make for this. Also, since we are talking about the speed of getting to Ascension, I'm assuming that the character will be run from Lion's (once they arrive) to Sanctum, through the mission, and through the desert missions.

1. The dervish or paragon class: Since they will be the "new" thing, there will be a large influx of those classes. Odds favor the quantity.

2. The Mo/*: Since the monk healers/protectors will always be in demand, they shouldn't have a hard time finding a group, and hence will advance to the transfer point to Tyria quickly.

3. The W/Mo: Since this type of build is relatively easy to put together and survive with, they might have the easiest time getting to the desert.

I could probably go on, but I'll stop with those being my top 3 ideas, in rough order from quickest to slowest.

Merry meet, merry met, merry meet again,
