Actually what Anet intended is that elite mission towns where to constantly change hands so more people would have access to the elite missions, of you search three months back you’ll see that.

The other day me my brother and our friend went down to Ugoz's Warren. Just the three of us We went down on our rangers trapping had a freakin blast. Spent at least 3 hours in the first area trapping/pulling and fleeing like schoolgirls.
Yes the elite missions are hard there meant to be. Try doing them with an organized guild/allience group instead of a PuG.
Just the 3 of us went down there and with careful skill selection had quite a bit of fun and no headache from a PuG.

Waste of time, avoid it if you want my opinion.

1. level 20 doesn't mean anything, did you do the 2 attribute quests too?
2. 1 mil exp isn't that much =/
3. Don't need to be infused, sentinel isn't always good armour
4. 14 str is ok..., got dolyak? Funny: dolyak+drunken blow
5. 506hp is ok, monks are fine with that
6. SSkai's sword isn't that very damaging unless you use it to power skills but it's still iffy imo, try an elemental sword or a vamp one
7. That's +30 hp always and -1 average per hit you take. A malinons will give +45hp and -2 average per hit. crimson carapace too, or their equivalent collector/crafter shields in cantha
8. Only need 1 super absorb
go warrior subforum X.x
upgrade your stuff, it would take at least 2 or 3 hits then I think

he doesnt and a lot of other people dont realize it either.
someone posted a serious post a short while ago bragging about having 5 super absorbs on his armor.
he didnt believe it when told they dont stack but did say if they dont he will be very upset at wasting the money.
he also asked what kit he should use to get them back for resale.
seriously
that explains why we have the sup absorb rune shortage.
people read the armor global nerf go out for new armor and instead of getting 1 sup absorb for the new set get from 3 to 5 of them.

After the update, sup absorption only activates when the corresponding piece of armor is struck, so 2 runes isn't really a total waste.

If Sup Absorbtion only activates when the corresponding piece is struck, that wouldn't make it global would it?

In my personal experience, I have not really had much trouble with PuGs beyond what I would encounter with any other mission. However I am very picky with what PuG I join/start. If I start one I make sure to ask everyone what their general build is along with other simple related questions to make sure they know what they are doing. If I join one, I watch for communication between members before the group starts and also watch how selective the leader is. If the leader doesn't seem to know what he is doing, I leave before the group departs.

Personally, I think the only reason people aren't good at these areas is that people rarely get the opportunity to do them. If you want to keep characters anchored there, you loose out on the ability to take that character to other places in the game at will, or at the very least leave without the frustration of trying to find people to ferry you when you want to go back. I didn't pay for certian areas of the game, it came as an entire package. This has probably been one of my biggest complaints about Guild Wars next to lack of an auction system. Be it Underworld, Fissure, or the Elites, I'm at the mercy of someone I've never met to allow me access to content that I've purchased.

Updated Warrior Ascalon and Knight's armor sets so that the damage reduction applies only when the corresponding location of the body is struck. The damage reduction applies only to physical damage, and the amount of reduced damage was increased from 2 to 3.

Where does it say ANYTHING about:
-absorption
-(absorption) Runes
That's right. Nowhere. The update only modified the natural damage damage reductop, bonus on these 2 kinds of armor. Absorption runes have NOTHING to do with it.

Thank you, if they couldn't stack it would say "non stacking' but it's easier for some to insult first, then think.

Well read your original post. You come off as arrogant, a smartass and a poor player.
"Im lvl 20...blah blah blah blah. I got killed in one hit. So the place isnt worth it."
Thats why people are flaming you.

By playing in one of the most difficult areas of the game, it's assumed that one knows how2play.

Evidence of not knowing how2play.

Lol, if that was all
We spent almost 1 hour grouping, arranging skills to a full barrage team, and didn't even last a minute. Most rage quit, so we had to spend at least an other half hour to form a new team, and again we didn't last a minute.
All that time, nothing dropped either.
Waste of time, imho.

Barrage is a hard way of doing it the first time, you need to know what pops up and when. Thats why I recommend ppl to try it with a Trap team first, yes it is slower but safe. B/P runs are messy in the first room before you get a rythem going. Not a waist of time if you play for enjoyment, if you play for profit per played time, yes, then it is waist of time as is GW alltogheter, unless you are a E-Bayer making money.

No, they don't stack!

Sweet jesus is THIS the reason the vendor ran out of sup abs runes last week? Because a bunch of wammos misinterpreted what the updated did? Oh man once again the wammos strike again. No wonder pug wammos hate mesmers so much, they already have enough trouble hurting themselves without a mesmer compounding it.....
and btw I'm just bitter because I'd just bought a new set of tank armour for my whammee and this was just when the vendor ran out of sup abs runes...... and some nimrod was trying to sell one in trade for 100k -_-

Well, you get crowded at your spawn spot, so placed trap in abundance.
It is no fun when you spend such a long time forming a group, which is half Guildies, and don't even last a minute. Pugs always rage quit in elite missions. It was not only for the profit. I had more profit running errants in Kaineng.
