D/Mo Farming.
Sorry if this has already been posted but:
If scythes attack everything around you, would Live Vicariously & Vigorous spirit make you kind of invincible?
Therefore making them awesome farmers with only 1 or 2 skills?
Also if i'm correct they have +4 energy regen so you could maintain quite a few enchantments to improve the farming capabilities of the D/Mo.
(Mending + Live Vic + Essence Bond + A new Monk or Dervish enchant, sounds pretty good to me.)

Vigorous Spirit only activates on the attack, not the hit.

Even though it says attack, I'm pretty sure its everything it hits. I remember I used to farm griffins with my Wammo and used vig spirit and got healed more then once using Cyclone axe.

Dervish had 70 armor
Ya the D/Mo are strong with their Vig Spirit and Live Vig probably not just for farming either.
Hopefully the spinny attack + Vig will make them tank easier and their fate in PvE won't be the same as the assassin's.

First:
Live Vicariously - Heals on a [succesfull] hit
Vigorous spirit - Heals for each attack made, counting each enemy attacked as a seperate heal.
Second:
Scythe hits up to 3 enemies. So Both enchants COULD trigger 3 times each 1.33 seconds.
All in all... a D/Mo has potential. But imho A D/* is a pretty solid farmer... Mo may add healing, but I think its the least likely to fit in a D/ build. The dervish profession has pretty solid healing skills itself so why turn to monk for even more healing? Here are some thinks I really would like to see tested when we get another preview:
D/W:
- Wild blow 41 damage from a scythe sounds pretty brutal.
- Tactics for dodging attacks combined with the impressive healing from mystic regeneration could make him a great tank.
D/Me
- Sand Shard Spammer... obviously...
D/E
- Earth Prayers + Earth Magic woul make a great tank... may be very enchantment heavy so depends on the area.
D/A
- Mobility + High damage attacks
D/N
- Conditions ftw
D/R
- Traps + enchantments + Mirage Cloak
D/Mo
- Enchantments + Contemplation of Purity
And Im barely scratching the surface here.

have to agree that D/* is a pretty solid build, and by the way, Dervish it self got a minor version of Live Vicariously that depends on how many enchantment on him.

Every 1.75 seconds. Axe with Cyclone will still give more health by far if you have more than three or four enemies around you.

Scythes will hit no more then 3 targets at once. So... sorry!
I posted a build about Dervish farming in the Farming forum called "Ahh... I can see it now (Dervish Farming)" or something to that effect

First off D/MO will be Nerfed It was solid but highly overpowered.
Farming as a D/MO I doubt will work of have to be timed right due to the enchantment spikes being burst aoe if cast closer then 5 seconds between the aoe trigger goes off making the enemy run. with a scythe it could be very practical but not as an enchantment spiker.
I see this being the strongest new form of 55.

You mean 105. With a scythe being two handed, you won't have a free hand for the -50 offhand. Or do you plan to discard the scythe?
Personally, I see the D/Mo as being a super strong farmer even without Protective Spirit. The 55 and 105 Mo/W's weakness is his vulnerability to anything with enchantment stripping/and or degen. That won't be a problem for a D/Mo with a full bar of hitpoints, massive self healing ability, and whatever other buffs he might want to bring along.
As I said in another thread, one of the really intriguing possibilities, at least from a farming perspective, is that he will be able to go into the Avatar of Dwayna form ever few minutes. This will give him more or less complete immunity to hexes, and the ability to farm those squishy heavy-hexers your old 55 monk was never able to go near.

Maybe, maybe not. In Factions, heavy enchantment stripping was present in nearly all mobs I faced before I quit PVE. I can only imagine Nightfall will be as bad or worse in that sense, so that solo farming will be difficult at best (there are solo Factions builds, but most of them aren't 55HP builds). Now taking a Dervish to Prophecies will probably go a long way, since you can farm a lot of places out there without enchant stripping.

Your Right, they seem overpowered, although after the PvP preview event i think Anet Will have realized this and will probably do something about it. But If Not WOOOOHOOOO! lol

Just until Anet adds hexing creatures to those mobs.
I seem to remember, not to long after Factions was released, the area outside of Gates of Kryta was upgraded, and became much tougher.
You can bet the same will happen when Nightfall is released.
