Hmm you should get an email if you have access to the email account that you use for the game.
I did get an email confirming the order with order number and other things.

Ok for those who were having problems - a vast majority I know who are on the EU server, the new update has fixed the issue for those outside of the US getting the error that they couldn't buy because their "US state" was outside of the USA.

yes i know.
but go to every internet based purchase thing (amazon, ebay, etc) and you can print it out, as well as receive as email confirmation.
emails can be lost. they can bounce back. your spam filter might eat it.

Thank you Lyra! I am having the same problem, now I know what to do. I was starting to get irritated. "What do you mean my pw is wrong? I just logged in, you dolt!" lmao
Tax?! How do you tax digital media? It's not tangible, nothing physical is provided. How is tax justified?

Lucky for you, it selects it in britsh pounds cause anet in europe looks after Australia.. even if you're on the US server. (btw, the exchange rate makes it slightly cheaper for us to pay in US dollars than British pounds)
Not that any of this matters to me. I'm one of the few adults who have a job, own a car and run a family on a relative low income.. and whom the banks are kindly refusing to issue a credit card to.
I would have loved to see another way to pay for things, either paypal (who had enough problems getting it to the point where even Australians don't need to use credit cards anymore) or some way of automatic transfer/bank cheque payment sent to got knows where. Anything, other than the unobtainable.
Sure, I understand that there are security risks in using paypal, but.. there are security risks using a credit card, and I'm reasonably sure I'm not the only one who plays guildwars who doesn't have access to a credit card.

Ok, so I'm just checking here:
I have as suggestions:Offer "print this page" receipt. (Not sure it's doable, but can pass it along. Maybe even a "If you would like a receipt, please click "Print Screen" and your receipt will be saved in your Guild Wars Screenshot folder" as an instruction might be helpful, eh?)
Offer additional means to pay, including PayPal.
Any other suggestions?A few early bugs appear to be repaired.
It seems that the situation with demanding that European shop customers supply a "state" was fixed. We're sorry for the delay, and yes, we know, there is no "Ohio" in Germany or a "Wisconsin" in France.
Any problems or concerns to report at the moment?
My personal suggestion: Have a little Charr pop onto the screen at the end and say "Thank you for shopping. Have a nice day!"

I'm getting connection errors trying to access the store. I'm wondering, do I need to open up any ports on my router to successfully connect?
Also, are there any plans to put the DirectSong packs on the store? It would make it a heck of a lot more accessable to the noobies who love the game's music to beef it up.

Question to those who have made a purchase:
Does the game keep a log of your past purchases? If so, does this include CC details? I'm asking because I don't have a CC, and a friend of mine is willing to do it for me, but we obviously wouldn't want his CC details to be shown to me afterwards.

No consideration seems to have been made for players who have full slots taken up to be able to try out the new characters
No shop available to be able to buy a new character slot.(which i dont agree with)
Looks like guild wars had a long term plan for online play with stealth charges. Guild wars used to pride itself on being a free online game.
We now have 2 updates a year and shops to purchase new characters. Its not like you can play two at the same time is it. Would it not be better to give them free so players keep prophercies alive by going back and replaying it. I will not purchase slots to go back and play old content
What happened to free updates like Sorrows Furnace updates. Have they now stopped?

anet are rookies to the mmorpg scene. so i dont blame them for being disorganized. just lay them off a bit. they're trying their best to satisfy their customers. you know that most mmorpgs make their revenue by charging monthly fees right? take a look at guild wars. no monthly fees since its debut. anet has to find alternate methods of making revenue than just keep releasing new chapters every few months. that's just common sense.
if and when anet ever does implement a monthly fee for guild wars. i can just foresee all the immature brats leaving the game. this i would like to see. anet really needs to do something about these brats. it's like my gaming experience for guild wars decays as more and more of these brats i come across. it's really annoying. all they do is hang around towns(ie. the infamous Grotto) and talk about perverted things or just totally act annoying such as spamming or performing perverted emotes and such. you get the picture. if you read this Gaile, pls take this in consideration. do something about this for god sake!

the emaill invoice just says the type of card and the last 4 digits.
Now the store is very conveinent (sp?) but expandiong to normal retail stores would allow for a wider base.
Odd that the online store will not take my capital one visa, but it will take my debit card MC. Gaile, you might want you e-comerce to look into that.

How long before the shop is selling Weapons Armour and Gold.
Point im making is it used to pride itself on no monthly charges but the way its going it will be the same only hidden in stealth charges.
Ive often wondered if the sellers on ebay are part of Guild Wars who sell millions of gold on there and they have 10 million in stock at all times. Thats a lot of farming when a GM could just add it to an inventory

Geezus, stop. Making wild speculations and then making complaints based on those speculations and treating it as fact is ridiculous.

Hate to complain, but I do agree. I've been having an issue with the CVV/expiration date message as well and while I did submit a support ticket, I've yet to hear a response or explanation (and that is totally understandable, it's late at night. And GW support has always been good to me, so totally not dissin' them). So, yeah, some news or a fix to that would be nice.

The Store has Visa option but does Visa Electron work? Anyone tried?
BTW, even if you in Europe and use euros, order with dollars because currency conversion makes it cheaper than ordering with euros.

I'd like to see other methods of payment, like Paypal, as Gaile has mentioned. But what I'd be overjoyed to see would be little game cards that I can purchase from electronics stores. It would be like those gametime cards for CoV/WoW..
