What's after Nightfall?
Well...so far ANet's released Prophecies,Factions, and soon, Nightfall. Each game had it's own dominating theme, like Prophecies being somewhat European, Factions, based on Asia, and Nightfall based on well...uh...I dunno really. But what do you think the next big theme will be? Oh yah...and this is my first post

Well that'd be cool...maybe it might be something like maybe a vast desert with underground locations...maybe they'd even put a new part of PvP into it...wars!!!It'd be kinda cool if they let you do Alliance vs. Alliance, literally.
Edit:We really need something different from melee and magic don't we?Like...maybe bombs or a complete trapper based profession.

**crosses fingers** floating continents floating continents floating continents floating continents floating continents **squeezes crossed fingers tighter**
When Factions came out I was all like: The next chapter better have spears or I'm not gonna buy it. And look what my demands got us :P
So now I'll say: The next chapter better have floating continents or I'm not gonna buy it
So I have spoken, so shall it be!

Themes of future chapters
Greetings,
First, the silly:

You mean, we're not already playing that? Wonder where I got my Cup of Refilling Sugary Coffee from then ....
Now, for the seriousness:
There are still many types of themes that ANet can borrow from. A several choices are: Norweigan themed (vikings, valkyries, berserkers, and such), Greek/Roman (as was already suggested here), Aztec/Incan/Mayan from Central and South America, the American Indians (Cherokee, Sioux, Apache, and so on), possibly the aboriginies from Australia (don't know much about their mythology personally), Russian mythology (Baba Yaga and such). And, of course, ANet could just simply make up their own themed chapter.
Now, if I were to have to pick a most likely candidate for chapter 4 (other than Gaile's choice of Binky's Spelling Adventure ), I would predict a Greek/Roman themed, followed closely by Norweigan.
Just some ideas.
Merry meet, merry met, merry meet again,
Wyldchild777

that would be cool!

It better have a Dr Pepper continent or I'm not buying it.
Seriously, though, a Norse themed game would be cool. There is much to use from their mythology.

I am kinda hopeing that elements of Chapter 4 will expand on previous chapters some. Making use of their Terrians and open map areas. So what I am saying is go back and fill in some areas of the map that have massive potential, AND will encourage people that late in the game to purchase earlier chapters like Prophacies for ORR and Southern desert, and Factions for the south west penensula. These would be accessable in Chapter 4 via boat of course but to reviel the rest of the massive maps you would need the other chapters... I think thats a great branch to hold out there for new players to want to play all that other content. It would not be long before they would be looking for all the other chapters to fill out their maps...
Just a thought... Not sure if this concept is coming in Nightfall or not but I would love to see it happen to encourage more multi chapter operability on the engine.
