When i read thru here . . i see those who just chill and quest get zomfg l337 weapons and those who rapidly farm them get crap.

WTF They have changed the date from all weekend august 11-13 , to it starts sunday 13th august... sneaky anet glad i only spent 3k on keys this morning.

1 gold item worth keeping in 20 is pretty good. Welcome to chest farming.

Loot's been pretty good so far, rares are much more common drops now.

Yup, if you get one Gold that's Worth more than 100k in 50 opened chests you're lucky.

Ruin the economy for who? certainly not the great majority of players out there that don't care for 100k+ecto prices and just want one because they are cool.

Not everyone can farm for ages and contrary to popular belief not everyone just whips out a credit card and buys gold on ebay. Its nice anet have given the largest part of the playerbase a chance to get some nice skinned weapons, after all we have all payed exactly the same amount of money on the game haven't we

After I had no luck with 20 or so Luxon keys I decided to trade the rest of them (about 25 or so) for Kurzick keys.

Drops were better, best things I got were r10 Platinum Blade 15^50, req8 Marble hammer 15/-5 and req9 Archaic Axe 15/-10. Plus I got 4 Superior Runes - all of them were Death Magic runes... weird.

Comparing to getting almost no golds (not to mention crappy ones) from Luxon chests this is pretty good, especially the plat blade.

No, you read it wrong, it says it has STARTED and it lasts UNTIL August 13th...

Been doing the chest runs at Nahpui. For some oddball reason I seem to get awful lot of celestial bows (crappy) about 40%. 50% are sticks (crappy because the staff/wand creation algorhitm is still broken). The rest are nondescript junk with the occasional boon that makes me break even. Still I'm having relatively good time.
