Default Why

Why ranger teams of players ask for order necros when order of vampire works only for physical dmg,and ranger deal ranged not physical?

Ranger deals physical dmg.

Stick an arrow to your butt and you tell me if your suffering from mental pain or physical pain.

All you wanted to know (sorta) about B/P groups. It'll tell you why Orders Necros are desired.

I think your mistaking with Melee dmg

Ranger deal Piercing dmg which is also Physical sinds some axes (Piercing Axes, Battlepicks) and even a Hammer (Colossal Pick) also deal Piercing Dmg. And, also, most daggers deal piercing dmg 2

P.S. Piercing, Slashing and Blunt Dmg are all Physical

@ OP

You might consider actually coming up with a title

Also maybe you should have posted this in the appropriate class forum.

Ranged / melee is a different type of categorization than physical / elemental / holy / etc.

Damage can be ranged and physical at the same time (bows and spears), or it can be ranged and non-physical (most staves and wands).

Wrong, this is for General disucssion about the game. Dicussions

We have a Q&A forum for questions, general or otherwise.

If you disagree with then PM me, but fact remains this should have gone in the Q&A forum, and not Riverside

When were talking about damage anyway i also have a (slightly offtopic) one. Does the Aegis (monk prot skill) skill causes your party to block only physical dmg, or also magic attacks?

In B/P teams, when I play order necro, I always ask if the rangers have piercing dmg bows (physical) because fiery, ebon, lighting and cold strings do not work with orders. Any non-elemental dmg from your bow is considrered physical dmg.
