Those are the items that excite me -- and *55* explorable areas? Let's hope they're not the size of postage stamps.
Twenty story missions is very good.
Yup, I'm a happy camper.

I've always wanted customizable Henchies. However it looks as if Nightfall is leaning towards traditional single-player RPGs.

Hey, there,
I need to share something I just posted in another forum, because I think it's really relevant here, too.
I was reading the forums this evening and started to get that déjà vu feeling. Back in 2004, when we announced Guild Wars Prophecies, we saw a lot of retailers pick up on the news and post about the game on their sites. That was good – we appreciated them getting the word out that our game was coming, and they, of course, profited from sharing the info by lining up sales of the preorder and the game.
However, there were some problems with what they posted: Some of it just wasn't factual. For instance, how many veterans remember the "cloth map" that was allegedly going to be part of the Prophecies Collector's Edition? Or how about the supposed "Special Edition" that at least one retailer offered, with a contents list like the CE contents but a price that was $20 lower? Does anyone remember about 412 "release dates," too?
The problem with all these things is: The information did not come from ArenaNet. The information was wrong.
We love to share information. We're excited about Nightfall and can't wait to tell you about it: facts, figures, dates, the whole nine yards! So if we had things nailed down, we would announce details from the rooftops! But things are not locked down yet and neither the box contents nor the game content is finalized. Therefore, we're not making any announcements.
Bottom line: Wait to hear it from ArenaNet. We'll give you the straight info, and as soon as we can.

Ugh, customisable henchies is probably the worst news (or unfounded rumour, if you read more into the post above me than was carefully not-said ) I've heard about Nightfall so far.
...Maybe I should dig up my five-page rants on the Bioware forums trying to get the henchman system scrapped before NeverWinter Nights came out? The worst thing is that I was pretty much proved 100% right about that one.
I'm sorry; it's my problem, I'll deal with it. - Mr Burns, about bloodsucking lawyers rather than awkward henchmen.
@ Gaile: We certainly appreciate that game store descriptions can be and have been unreliable. And any outright denials and confirmations would be most welcome, I'm sure!
However, this is plausible information from a retailer you've worked closely with in the past. That automatically gives it a ~75% credibility rating (relative to all the other speculation this forum is designed to generate). A disclaimer form yourself that some things, sometimes, have turned out to be inaccurate doesn't actually alter this rating (which, you'll note, is pointedly not absolute) and might even be construed as a tactical error.
Why? Because those of us who have followed the release of a number of major games understand publishers' desire for a meticulously controlled release of publicity-type material. And so your post, which does not confirm or deny any specifics, can be interpreted as saying "Whoops, we weren't ready to reveal that yet" as readily as it could "It's wrong, but I'm not saying it's wrong, even though it is and we could put the speculation to rest".
...This on the long-understood convention that a "no comment" counts as a "yes". Of course, politicians and major corporations have been railling against this convention for decades, but since their motives are suspect they don't really get a say about it.
In other, less laberynthine words, I'm fishing for information - a nice 'confirmed' or 'denied' - here.

Good Vs. Evil is the most universal theme there has ever been in any type of epic. You can't have a huge war story that involves the theme of for example, secrecy distilled into for example, an intimate, yet subtle relationship of two cowboy, err, man-lovers who are against all odds with their secret, yet have an audience under 20 call it nothing but super gay gayness.
