Gwen was saved by a dragon by it giving her half it's heart. With her dragon heart, she grows extremely powerfull and the power corrupts her. Now evil Gwen has conquerred the surrounding lands and is a viscious tyrant. The dragon that saved her feels extreme guilt for having brought such despair to the lands and sulks in some far off mountaintop. Ohh and Sean Connery could be the dragon voice!

Perhaps not for nightfall, rather maybe a movie!

I dig the suggested crystal dragon (mursaat style) and always loved Chimeras.

I think i've seen a movie just like that...don't remember what it was called.

The only reason the prince in Dragon Heart was able to capture lands and be a tyrant was that he was already heir to the throne and inhereted all the knights of the kingdom. I fail to see how Gwen could conquer anything.

I'd say we get the GWENIRIAN HORNTAIL....She ate Balthazar,Grenth,Lyssa,Melandru,Dwayna all of them in just one go!!! will need 10 parties to play in DEFEAT THE HORNTAIL mission...and she will still own

Gwen as a dragon LOL SOUND LAME(sorry if it angrys u) shes just a girl how can she be a Dragon? and hopefully the dragon gonne be a MALE(no i don't say he met glint and then they CENCORED!)and gairoth u seen 2 much harry potter 4 -_-not to sound like a movie hater but gwenirian horntail? LOL-_-my idea is some kinda sea dragon with maybe a scythe as weapon(idea about scythe is from Yes im sure u know... DERVISH)And gives advices AND ANCIENT SKILLS LIKE NILE STAP(assasin)Tear of the Nile(necro)Find on more

plus that in each city(mission outpost i mean)theres not so many and it would be quite painfull when you wait till 80 monsters r dead to get !1! item.would be quite anoying

As the theme of Nightfall is darkness (hence the name) taking over, I would susspect that the dragon, if it is indeed a dragon, would be a light-born creature. It would be something of a holy dragon that has been infected by the encroaching darkness and you must purify it to help rid the land of the darkness. Those are just my thoughts though.
