Make that another. I was just so happy they gave us a competent mesmer hench in Factions.
Besides the assassin hench of course (lol, I love the comment that their only skill is die), I was pretty disappointed with the ele hench once again. The only one I take with is earth for the ward. I don't take any melees when I hench, but the warriors seem just as mediocre. The ranger and mesmer hench really stepped it up this chapter.

I would rather fight next to a big giant tigerbird with a sword and shield jumping in the way of the sword that would of hit me, than be fighting with a guy that can interupt a spell by the enemy and...then...well...thats all he seems to be able to do... but thats just my opinion

Erys is a nice guy.
I like Orion-the-portable-Crematorium too. Not like he does anything good, he's just a nice guy too.

I just have to love Lukas! Being his henchman is always a blast - Too bad he shares that unreasonable affection for Danika with the only other true MAN in Cantha, his kinsman Erys Vasburg.
Those two surely get my combined votes - Lukas for his limitless self-indulgence, Erys for is ungodly precision and creepy self-sacrificial tendencies

My pick is for Professor Gai. He's the hardest working healer out there. He takes damage while healing himself and everyone else. You don't find the same multi tasking from Alesia or her Canthan doppleganger, Sister Tai. Those two are complete daydreamers. First sight of damage and they're running their tails off. Professor Gai stays put and deals with it. Simply put, Gai is the Man.

My favourite henchie is Talon, lore based. He has this unique attitude and I love the sound of Sun and Moon Slash. But AI speaking I love Daeman and Argo. They are always on my party...of course when I am on the Jade Sea.

1. Eve - Blood ritual ftw
2. Daeman - A lifesaver when trying to cap something from an overpowered caster boss
3. Lukas - A real stance tank as opposed to all other brain damaged warrior henches

Erys for obvious reasons, he interrupts Reversal of Fortune when he feels like it.
Cynn. Incendiary Bonds, Fireball... <3. Sure she Firestroms but hey, scatter = enemy not attacking so the monks can heal the damage dealt before they scattered.
