Actually, your Marks. lvl only boosts the level of the spirit, and it's duration. A lvl 1 favorable winds is +6 damage, a lvl 11 favorable winds is +6 damage.

hehe yeah that happens to me too, thats why i always used to bring the one signet that heals and WoH which costs only 5 nrg.

My rangers hp is at 275 cause i am using 3 sup runes on him, BM, Expertise & WS, Bm for EoE, Expertise...well...obviously and WS again well obviously..

low HP, yeah but i lay down traps v quickly

OK - this might not be a total jerk story, but I was kinda pissed. I was looking for a group for Thunderhead, and found a group where the leader said he'd done it before. I'm a Necro/E, so he asks me to bring Blood Rit, I usually don't, but he was Monk, so I figure why not. We were doing really well - cleared whole city - but he kept reporting he had energy 3 of 42 or 7 of 42 at almost every point in the mission. We had another Monk who never reported any low health.

We get to the end and defeated almost all of the Mursaat (I think), got to the boss and than people started dying - I cast blood Rit on him multiple times during this fight, AND used Well of Power (which is awesome by the way), but everyone dyed. We get back to outpost and he blames ME! Says he cannot heal if he doesn't have energy, and I did not help him. I never had a monk have such energy problems - so was it me - or did he not know how to manage energy - never played Monk before so I don't know. Just made me really annoyed... Oh and I amost killed that boss by myself - had him down to almost nothing...

I have a necro and a monk and from my experience, a monk at that point in the game should be able to manage their own energy. Blood ritual, BiP, and WoP are meant to be helpful but not depended on.

Yea, i bet the monk was just spamming heal party when he even saw a liitle bit of health drop. I had one in tombs today, kept spamming his low energy. We asked him to ping everything he does, and guess what...I am using Heal Party! I am using Heal Party! I am using Heal Breeze! My energy is 8 out of 43!.......

Instead of not inviting anyone else to your guild, just don't be so quick to give them stuff. Tell them they have to be in the guild for X number of weeks or months before they get guildie rights. If their scammers, they'll leave and then problem solved.

Setup:

today im inbetween projects at work and theres like 3 elites i dont have on my warrior, so i figure ill go capping and finish those off. I get into a capping grp at RoF to cap backbreaker and we onyl have one monk... things are goign well at first, until our other warrior goes nuts. story lays out as follows:

Eh, ok... so not the BIGGEST jerks ever, especially compared to some of the people I've seen in here... but still pretty stupid none-the-less. Maybe on my part, but meh.

I believe it was Sunday night, and I was just chillin' in Ascalon looking to give an Axe/Shield combo away cuz I had no use for it, but I figured a newbie Warrior might. So, I'm watching for a non-guild low lev warrior to appear, and then I see someone start spamming "WTS 15^50 Max Dmg Req 9 Ascalon Bow!! Only 2k!!" or something to that extent... the point was it was an obvious collector's item to anyone that had been close to that far. So I call him on it, and he leaves... I get a little annoyed, but keep my warrior hunting. Then like 10 minutes later, right after I had given away my Axe/Shield combo, I see him come back and start spamming... and call him on it again. This time, someone else in the district noticed and chimed in with me... and I believe he left cuz I didn't see him spam again. Cuz of that night, I made 2 new friends... the newb I gave the axe/shield to and the guy that helped me out.

Then, last night I was doing Bloodstone Fen with one my other semi-newby friends (Mo/W, and my R/Mo) and we picked up a Mo/W in the Wilds but he had to help a guildie, so we got a R/N to go along with us too. We get into the mission, and the R/N is basically leading the way and "calling" the shots... some of which I thought were pretty stupid, like she had me and my monk friend drop our seeds while she held onto hers... when she should've dropped hers and let the monk hold on cuz he can still cast. At this point I start whispering my friend and we both share our dislike of her, but we just wanna finish the mission so we don't really do/say anything about it on team. So... we get up to the end when we have to fight the boss guy, and the ranger tells us to take out the sides first, which I understood cuz the boss would overwhelm us otherwise... but my monk friend missed the memo and after we killed one of the sides he just ran ahead and attacked. At this point, Alesia, Claude, Stefan, and my friend all died relatively simultaneously due to the multiple White Mantle up there. I turn and start running and the Ranger follows cuz theres no way in hell we'd be able to survive a frontal assault. We go over and the two of us decide to try to take out the other side before ressing... and I'm level 20 at the time (yea, I skipped maguuma so I'm doing it now) so I start tanking the white mantle guy at my side who keeps smacking me so the other ranger lives and we try to take out the abbott. So... I die, cuz those guys hit hard even with the 2nd best armor in the game... and then the ranger proceeds to tell us that she has no res and she calls my monk friend a newb for rushing him... which, he may have been, but still... to me, Res is a staple in my skill bar. Even when I'm running around with just my pet... I leave it in, rather than take the chance of getting used to having an empty slot and not wanting to switch anything else in. Long story short, Ranger makes a feeble attempt and just sits there living for an extra 15 minutes, kills one abbott, and then gets raped. As soon as we get back to town, she leaves. Whatev, maybe we should've talked before... but I still just assume that that relatively early on in the game you'd bring res...

Sry, but " warrior wtf " doesn't help very much. Using the name of the avatar behind helps, and the expresion is that of someone who's telling another off. Not very positive . If you tell sth like that to a boy of 15 he's going to answer like he did. if he is more mature maybe he'll shut up, but you have earned points for upcomming problems

"like i said ure terrible" doesn't help either. Do you think your'e "uber" or sth like that? Probably the other one was doing bad, but the rest of the conversation is a pure war you helped to begin with.

a war that i don't want to begin btw.

I just see the usual PUG that is going down. In this case, once the situation reaches this point not even the "shield of patience" or the "no more healing if you're not a good boy" can help.

Nice post as shows how PUG-s can go down even when things are going quite decent

But yeah, I always give people a chance first, and let them know, "You shouldnt run in like that incase you agro another 1 or 2 groups and then it will be tough".."Try to agro them out, thats why we are running back to pull them out so its safe to attack them"

Usually most of the time thats all its needed, and youve helped someone, but to go on the attack cause he ran in, and go mental, yes im sorry but you went mental on him, is a bit heyhum.

i was trapping UW with a friend, and we were one man short, i looked on my friends list, and none of my other trapper freinds were on. So i do the normal LFG thing and i get someones inivite, so i let them join. since we already had done a couple runs we were set up, i had Ew and she had qz. the other spirits that can come in handy are eoe and winn. normaly i am the puller in the groups i go into, but im fine with letting other people pull. so anyways the first thing this guy says is "im pulling". so i just said ok, seemed a bit pushy, but meh.he said to wait a sec to let him set up his skill bar, which is absolutely fine, since its a 3 man group its nice to have each person bring one spirit, eoe is more effective than winn in most situations in the UW so i asked him if he could bring eoe.
Him: "im a puller, pullers dont bring spirits."
me: "im a puller in most of the groups im in and i always bring a spirit"
Him: "bringing a spirit while pulling makes about as much sense as a baby with an ak47"
me: "so your saying bringing a spirit that will help the whole team makes no sense?"
him: "let my ecto's do the talking"
me: "your ecto's can do the talking elsewhere"
and i kicked him out, normaly i wouldnt have. but he was being pushy and arrogant, i mean how does finding more "random drops" than another person make you any better than them. im fine if he pulls differently, has a different bar thats fine, the spirit isnt neccisary. its just the fact that he was acting like he was better than everyone else,and diddnt explain WHY he couldnt bring the spirit. there was some more said but i cant remember the whole conversation, but thats the gist of it. i guess i could be considered of being the jerk there, but i dont really see much of a reason.
