Well heres mine fresh from a tombs run.
We got to the Hall Of Heros in the barrage pet groups and were doing great. So we get into center take out the full mob take out the wurms and proceed to kill the right mob near the darkness (we left one so greens could be picked up) So we kill the mob and lure the darkness down and once dead first mob drops Millius Pillar for the necro of our group. He was new to tombs but worked really hard.When his green dropped he was fighting the last terrorweb to help the ranger who was being showered whilst trying to pick up Victos Blade. I get my green and 3 dont but say it was fun. We realise that one green remains on the ground - The Pillar. We tell the necro to pick it up and he says his inventory is full.So of course the mob walks in and attacks. Kills the necro and the remaining part of them team runs off to recover. I was dead but somebody rebirthed me so i along with others attempted to rebirth the necro. Got him and bam hes dead again. So somebody gos and lures the pop up grasps towards us and we run around crazy with a plan to res the necro so he could get his green. The remainder of the team includeing me ran around being followed by the full mob.So the ranger running at the front drops a raven staff and runs in and grabs the pillar. *Jerk Player has left the Game* The team gets angry with the necro having no idea where his green went. One other ranger happly gives him a green but most wanted to spam the jerk to hell.I added him to my friends list and tell them i will try and get the green back. Once the jerk comes back online 6 mins later on another char i ask him why he took it. He then procceeds to tell me he is the *Dark Side* who doesnt like taking items from people but its the work of his guild. He even gave me the guild name ( i have heard it somewere before but dunno if he wasnt just giving me another guilds name) Biggest Jerk IMO |

ive got a jerk story.. im going through missions in the shiverpeaks and in the ice drake cave and i died (after being left alone with dryders while the rest of the group rushed the drake, and watching monk heal himself unneccessarily over me i might add), and i had a black dye drop. Right away the monk says no one res her. before i know it my so called team mates are refusing to res me and waiting to pounce on my black dye. finally one of them (probably realising that it was foolish to think whoever picked it up would split the cash from it like they said) whispered me saying ill buy it from you for 1.5k (what a saint) at this point though i was pretty mad so i said "if you res me." so he did and i got my dye while the rest cursed him. since i made a weird bargain and he did res me i gave the guy 2k, but for the shady deals all around i kept my dye and left... theyre def on the ignore list

^ hmm, that wasn't necessary, but certainly a stupid response from "it"... If you said more information about the Guild eg. members, achievements and Ladder Rating, then more select people would join your guild.

i've had a necro threaten to logoff and unleash his minions on us if we didn't listen to everything he said.
in another instance, we had some loser in UW stay afk the whole time, only to periodically come back to collect loot. |

heheh, IMO, I think the most jerk's you'll find are at Thunderhead Keep...
Reason? 1) Well, lets just say we're playing right...then one person dies right after the king opens the door. Then right after, others leave too.... 2) You have a monks that join the game, then when they die inside the fort when we fight against the mursaat bosses, they leave cuz they think it's all over... Yeah...lets just say out of my 2 characters, neither of them has passed Thunderhead Keep, and I've played that mission over 20 times (no joke) And you also have to hate those people when you say like a millions times before and when the mission start, "Let the MONK take the king"...yet a warrior grabs him and pisses everyone off.

Ok. Heres the new one. Hubby and I got on a little early one morning no guildies were on yet and no favor. So we decided to do a tombs run we hadn't tried in awhile and it sounded fun. So we head off to tombs and try to pull a pug together. Got a monk a tank an ele..eventually we had 7/8. So I asked everyone what they wanted for the last spot...everyone wanted an mm. Ok so I advertise "7/8 GLF an mm for farming" and a necro invited him self. Cool full team no problem. Well one of the monks asks if it is possible to have everyone leave and re-join in a certain order so it would be easier for all of us to keep an eye on whats going on. He wanted the two necros at the top then the three monk the one ele and then the two tanks at the bottom. So everyone leaves and I get ready to re-form the party. Necro invites himself and I accepted...well that put him in charge. No big deal. So I had written down the party names to make sure we got everyone back. I started telling him what the names were of the people we were missing.
necro (jerk) says" shevaa stfu this is MY team now I'll handle everything. Not to happy with that but whatever I let it go. So then he starts telling me "Don't f*n worry about it I'll sort the team when we get them all back into it I was thinking...ok umm if it were that easy then no one would have had to leave. Still didn't say anything. Monk: Umm do either of our necros have br or bip Jerk: Ask shevaa I'm pure deathI can't be bothered with either of those. Me: yes I will loose one of my curses for br please give a second to figure out which one lol. Monk: Well what about bip couldnt you take it? Me: No then I would loose ss and I really can't do that but I am more then willing to take br for you. Monk: ok thats fine ty Jerk: whatever bip is better I'm thinking..well if you like it so much then YOU take it mr I'll handle everything...but of course I don't say that I just stay quit. So we get to first map and as every group I have ever gone with we all went to the left cleared the bridges and the pop ups then went down to clear the floor before the last room. The jerk was trying to get us to do the dryders and banashed dream riders first...no one listened and went the way you usually do which of course cause the other necro to complain for the rest of the map. next map (not sure how we made it here but cool). He runs up letting minions take aggro. After the fight all three monks ping low energy. I ping br on all of em...before I even got br on the first monk jerk's minions are aggroing the next mob. Somehow we barely live..I ask him to slow down as well as others. Again low energy ping and again he runs his minions up to aggro. Finally some guildies signed on shortly after this (one of which is an mm necro and I told him he was fired for not being there lol) anyway we made it through. usually you see people who tried to sell things for cheap to be in "offline" mode where you can pm them directly. In this case, this dude either try to make profit by providing false information or don't know what the hell he/she talking about.

Whenever I go to Sorrow's Furance to do a quest I want to stop and go after all green drops bosses in the Footprint - it doesn't take that long yet lately more and more people have been ignoring my requests to do so (even although if they agreed to it in town then in the field now it's too bad).
I understand that for some people green drops are not that valuable or they consider it a waste of time since there are even better drops inside the Furance. I can see that but however, doing all bosses in the Footprint would increase the odds of a green drop and some of them often are useful. Beside one man's junk is other's treasure. This is a group game - compromising is a big part of making sure it's fun for everybody involved. Being dragged kicking and screaming to SF isn't something I appreciate. I hate it when people run because more time than not, they wind up getting killed and that's less firepower for the group. However I understand that some people simply don't want to bother with killing that one group in front of the Furance entrance and since most of the time my PUGs tend to humor me in my wish to kill all bosses, I just say nothing. It's all about compromising - they get what they want and I get what I want. Anyway speaking of Furance - we were doing Final Assault and the teamwork was horrible. My monk friend got fed up and left which prompted in two others leaving. It took several tries and candy canes generously donated by one player (no he's not the jerk here, I gave him 5 plat at the end out of appreciation) but we were able to take down the Forgeman but we simply couldn't handle djinns One player went off and aggrooed 6 Furance Guardians on his own - what a moron. I said over the team chat please do not do that and he whispered to me to let up on him and he was just having fun. Excuse me - I don't care if you aggroo everything in sight if you're with henchies or with like-minded players. I definitely do mind - I want everybody at their fittest (no dp, and morale increases would be terrific) so we can complete the quest in more effective matter. Ahh needlessly to say it wasn't the best PUG experience I had. Inconsiderable jerks *mutter* |
